I was speaking on the phone with my 16-year old niece yesterday...
I asked her what her favorite bands were at the moment...
She answered (I thought), "The Who"...
I was pleased!
"The Who!" I replied. "I love The Who! They're incredible!"
Songs like "Substitute" and "Baba O'Reilly" started playing in my head...
I was excited that she was enjoying some classic rock...
"No... no..." she replied... "The Hu... H-U..."
"Uh... The Hu...?"
It turns out that The Hu are a Mongolian folk rock and heavy metal band...
They also incorporate traditional Mongolian throat-singing into their songs!
There you go... My niece has got very explorative taste when it comes to music!!!
