Help on getting Traffic without $$ ? (Thanks!)

Ok, I have a really "newbie" Q here! lol, I'm NOT a newbie to the internet, BUT...I AM new at having a website to "drive traffic" to!:eek:

Can someone help me??? I don't have extra money laying around to pay to put out the ads, SO...I have been doing things like...

- I joined several traffic exchanges (autosurfs) where you add your site into the rotation (but I confess, I sure would like to know of a good MANUAL surf site - one where they don't kick off free members, at that!)

- I'm into Traffic Swarm & Adland Pro & DM's

Anyone have any other free ideas - I could really use the help here!:)
