Hello Gordon,
I've read different posts by you about sales and coldcalling... so, I thought, "Hey, I'm going to ask Gordon for his thoughts on this topic."
The other day, I had a gentleman ask me a question about sales... and I didn't have an answer for him.
What he said is that every once in a while (while doing sales-coldcalling)he is totally overcome with "something"... he just doesn't know what that "something" is.
He said when it happens, he feels like hiding or running away. So, instead of doing sales, he stops to get a cup of coffee, stays awhile,and eventually just goes home.
Now, what he wants to know from me is: what is this "something?" And I DON'T know!
Any ideas of what he's experiencing, or how I can offer him any assistance? (Overall, he seems to be doing quite well in sales.)
