If you Fully experience the sensation and not just think about it. And at the height of your experience, you touch your arm in a unique way, you should be able to re-experience the emotion the next time you touch yourself in a unique way.
This is one reason that different people have different erogenous zones or fetishes.
NLP calls it anchoring.
