Salt works on leeches too.
Just a couple of days ago, I was telling my son about pouring salt on slugs (because he heard about it in a Weird Al song) but we don't have any here in AZ and couldn't find any videos of it anywhere.
I'm thinking you should record something and put it on YouTube for the "educational" value - LOL
