I don't know a thing about paydotcom, but you can also sell digital goods with Paypal (https://www.paypal.com/en_US/html/SolutionsDirectory/sd_dgd.html) or www.clickbank.com and unless you already have a merchant account you'll need one of them to process payments for you anyhow.
