You may not be in the market for what I'm about to "pitch" your way, but if you are, don't hesitate to get one.

And it was set off when I saw that someone on one of the forums had his house flooded, with 3 feet of water in his basement...
that brought back some very painful memories for me. When my house flooded, not due to an Act of God as much as due to an act of corruption and greed (they tied our storm sewers into a new development's sewage system and it backed up into our storms...I had 4 foot of raw sewage in my basement for 3 days, there was no place to pump it)...

it hit a nerve. My family in FL is well prepared for hurricane season, they have been through it many times before.
