* Do you require a search feature?
* How will you be accepting payment? PayPal only? Or a merchants a/c integration is required too?
* Do you have a design / website layout in mind?
* Do you need the solution to be proprietory and created from scratch? Or is it ok if the solution is based on an open source script out there? (If you plan to sell the solution to 100s of people out there, then you'll probably want to go for a proprietory version. If you just want it for your personal use, then basing it on open source is a good idea. It'll save you a lot of time and money.)
