I'm guessing the movie suggests that capitalism is not "necessary" and/or that ads are not necessary (which is false).
As I always say, most people (logically, but MISTAKENLY) believe this...
"The initial spark that leads to the vast majority of transactions emanate from the marketEE (consumer), not the marketER."
In reality, this is wrong + backwards.
Ads ARE necessary -- so much so, I'd say intrusive ads are the CORNERSTONE of capitalism itself. Without them, capitalism cannot exist.
By the way, the reason I found the article in the first place was the teaser headline: "PA city changes its name." I was SURE they MUST have been talking about the PA town called "Intercourse." I'm serious -- there is such a town.
