I tend to buy my meat already pre-cut, but of course, with some butchers you can ask them to cut up the meat how you like it... Such as which cut of meat, and how thick you want them to slice it...

That's not so surprising. But perhaps, it's a bit more surprising when it happens with vegetables!

At one of their stores in New York City, Whole Foods now has a "produce butcher!" They'll clean, trim, and custom-cut all kinds of fruit and vegetables to order...

Is this the way of the future? Custom-trimmed vegetables?

Somehow, it strikes me... It could be the beginning of a trend...! ;)
