Ah, daylight savings. More daylight. Time to enter a manic period, and Spring is the perfect time to do so. Although the real Spring is still a ways off.
Many of you know I work in 90 day cycles, perhaps an old habit from my submarine days, we had two crews on the boat and one crew would be on it for 90 days while the other was off training (and laying on the beach at Waikiki with tanned beauties). Anyhow, as a social worker we also operated on 90 day cycles with our Individual Program Plans.
So, today marks a start of the next 90 day period for me. And the focus becomes making as much moolah as I can before the warm weather tempts me to be doing other things (rather than working). March in Ohio has come in like a frikkin LION and is still roaring with snow, wind and bone chilling cold rain.
Hopefully, the lamb will show up before the month is out, and cabin fever gets broken into small pieces.
My activities will look like a pie, cut in uneven pieces. I'll be finishing up all consulting work I've taken on this winter, be looking at lots of chattel to flip, gearing up for Spring cleaning, garage sales, flea markets, etc. Always a great time of the year for cash flow.
I've got a couple of reports to write, and we've got plans to attend a pitchfest for a few TV and movie ideas (and a couple of spec scripts) and I'm looking forward to that process.
