I think it just comes down to humor being a personal thing...

Just like how some people LOVE Seinfeld (the series).... And others don't find it funny at all....

I guess the "joke" is the "conflict" between the fact that the saying is really pretty ridiculous and silly, and coupled with the idea (according to the modified images) that this very ridiculous saying is EVERYWHERE.... On buildings, T-shirts, billboards, and signs across the world.... :)

(Humor is not always fun to take apart, but I think most humor essentially comes from a conflict, whether it is a physical conflict, like in slapstick, or a more subtle kind of conflict, such as between incompatible ideas.... Here the conflict is between the two things I mentioned above, a completely ridiculous saying, and the idea that this ridiculous saying is EVERYWHERE....)
