Thanks Rick! Also, here are some more reviews....

Hi Rick,

Thanks for letting me know about Auction Watch and Auction Ferret.

I've used the Auction Watch search engine before to find prices of items I've thought about purchasing.... You can often find good prices using the Auction Watch search engine ( www.auctionwatch.com ). Thanks for letting me know about its management system too....

I hadn't heard of Auction Ferret, but I'll check them out too. :)

By the way, I just came across this review of several online auction management systems.... I thought I'd include a link here for anyone else considering using one of these systems for their own auctions....

Hi Dien,

I can't help you with auction software too much, but if you're looking for an auction management web site - I'd highly recommend Auctionworks.com.

Over the last couple of years I've used AuctionWatch, Andale, and now Auctionworks, and I would say Auctionworks is head and shoulders above the others.

Andale was good but they implemented some new programs about six months ago and became nothing but a giant headache. Their customer service department is non-existent.

Although I haven't used Auctionwatch in some time, they're having some problems lately and I wouldn't want to jump in there at the present time.

I've been using Auctionworks for about eight months now and have nothing but good things to say about them. Their customer service department has a 20-30 minute e-mail turn around time. If you call their 800 number it's even faster.

Cost wise, they're cheaper than either of the others. When I switched to them from Andale my monthly bill was cut in half. I list 60-80 items a week and my monthly cost with Auctionworks runs about $25. Well worth it for all the automated time saving features they provide.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe they have a free trial period. When you sign up with them a customer service rep calls you and sets up an appointment for a telephone training session on their dime.

I realize this sounds like an ad, but I'm just totally in love with these guys. I have no affiliate or business relation with them. From my perspective as someone who makes the majority of his income from eBay I wouldn't use anyone else.

Enough of the raving. The real key is to find a program you're comfortable with and stick with it.

Thanks Gary, it looks like a....

great site!

Thanks for the recommendation! I signed up for the two-week trial period at Auctionworks ( www.auctionworks.com )....

What can I say? I think it looks very powerful! It's taken me a short while to understand the system, but it really does look like it makes doing a lot of auctions very simple - especially if you are selling the same items many times, over and over. But even if you're not, automated emails also seem like a wonderful feature.

Thanks for recommending it Gary.... I'm just starting out with the site, but I agree with you, it does look powerful!
