I think there's a BIG difference between online and offline worlds: with the speed info gets known online - WHO you know is key.
If you were friends with Mark Joyner or Jay Conrad Levinson personally, would it help to boost your online business? I'm pretty sure it would, more than any knowledge one might have about online promotion!
