I'm a great believer in the old adage "FREE".

I don't think it very good business to offer a $2 object to get
people to the main play.

If you want real 'staying' customers, then attract them with
an offer they can't refuse. Offer them a FREE report
or ebook in return for their email address and name.
Your offer MUST be of interest, and helpful, giving them perhaps
a "How To" report.

I would never advocate buying leads - as has been said, they're
worthless and a total waste of money. I know I tried it!

Hello,

If your looking for free traffic the best way for that would be article submissions. This can bring in a lot of new unique visitors. Also you can work on building links this is another way to bring in free traffic.

I agree that buying cheap traffic or "HITS" is always a bad idea.
There are some cheap traffic services that supply you with bogus traffic
some may use "fake" traffic generators others may use "get paid to surf the web" clubs to send traffic to your site.
You have to make sure that you are getting quality targeted website visitors that's the only traffic that will convert. There are a few traffic services that have excellent service and can really help increase your profits
by sending you targeted traffic... these visitors are searching for the same products or services that you offer.
So just be sure that the company offers these benfits with any services

Can you contact the company when you need to?

Does the company guarantee performance?

Does the company certify its visitors to be genuine?

Can the company prove or verify the source of its visitors to your site?

Does the company offer a full range of services and techniques to serve your needs?

Does the company have the capacity to meet your time, volume and targeting requirements?

The best information on buying traffic is...
 

Carlos and Lupe's Traffic Tactics. They basically started with very little and grow it to over $5,000,000 a month using very little of their own money.

I say them speak at Yank Silver's Underground seminar a while back and was impressed. So impressed in fact that my partner and i sign up for their 25k coaching program.

Now we are no where near the level of Carlos and Lupe(only buying about 130k per month) their information made it all fairly simply to go out and just do it.

Since they have now come out with the 2nd edition of that program i will be selling the 1st edition of that program. I am selling mostly because out side of more case studies and a couple of more hours of personal coaching, the core information has not changed.
