Re: Cash Parking
Sorry Ankesh I left out some vital info.
The $4.95 price is for the 1ST year ONLY.. It than reverts back to $9.95 There is also a 5 domain name limit. But like I said it's only a trial so I'm happy paying half-price to test this idea out for a year. I'll probably register 5 and see how it pans out. Although there was another $5 domain host I'll look it up again and get back to you... |
Re: Cash Parking

Re: Cash Parking
I know this guy is selling something ,just cant figger out what ...is the 301 redirect an 'internet' term?
Yes. By registering a bunch of domain names and simply parking them on your main domain you have created a group of domains all having exactly the same website and web content. It's called duplicate content and in the eyes of all major search engines it is just plain "BAD" practice and your site WILL be penalized. So does that mean you must create different websites for each of the domains? Well, you could if you really wanted but that would be a lot of hard work - wouldn't it? The solution is a simple 301 direct. Using a 301 direct on each of your domain names you are able to redirect the domain to you main website address and will not be penalized by the search engines. In fact they like the 'good-old' 301. It will actually IMPROVE your ranking. So remember, registering multiple domains is an excellent strategy for driving extra traffic to your site BUT just be sure to use the 301 redirect command on each otherwise you will be penalizing yourself! |

Domain Name Profit Re: Cash Parking
PPC domain parking has been around for years and more people are coming on board. It's easy to start doing it, but not every domain will make money with parking - it depends on the quality and market of the keyword domains, the quantity and quality of the traffic, etc.
Some domains may not be keyword domains that bring much traffic or money, but they can be BRANDABLE (domains like Acemy.com or Arrot.com.) for a business to brand their new website. Beginners would better start slow, learn the trade and not going out to buy hundreds of domains randomly for parking. It's one of the costly mistakes many people make. It's true that experienced domain people are making thousands of dollars a year with parking. Hope you all profit with your domain names! Best of success, Alexander http://www.ProfitVirus.com |
