Toll Position: Just One Good Product
If you are not familiar with a "Toll Position" our esteemed leader Gordon J. Alexander has taught us,
"it's being in a position where people must always pay you first to acquire what you and only you have." Recently I've been rereading Robert Blagg's material Just One Good Product for a project I'm working on. Over the past 9 months I've been working on my own "Toll Positions" and have been using Robert's material as a guideline. Even though I've not provided a testimonial for him to use and I'm not an affiliate, I wanted to publicly endorse his material. It's extremely solid advise and provides some real direction. It's not "Guru" taught, which for me is a huge plus. But don't think for a moment what you study will be a slam dunk to a "Toll Position". It's not, but like any worth wild venture a great resource is just as valuable. So when you're ready to take the bull by the horns go to Robert's website http://www.justonegoodproduct.com/ and purchase his material. If you are not serious and just want Robert's slant on "Toll Positions", don't go. His material focuses on real business, real money and real control of your financial independence. Peace and Success to those in a Toll Position. |
Bob Blagg is a DOER.
Bob and I had the good fortune to have had Harvey Brody, the MASTER of the Toll Position to learn from.
Bob and I worked on getting some "stored value" products into the marketplace. He is one of the handful of people who actually pursued a product and was able to land some exclusive deals with NO out of pocket expenses. Last year, Bob offered his first draft report to SowPubbers for review and feedback. Some of you helped Bob create a better report. He worked hard on it, put in the time, got the information and has delivered a good product for people who want to get a start in finding a Toll Position. Harvey Brody helped me find my own Toll Positions and was instrumental in providing guidance and expertise based upon his 50 years of success in business. The Toll Position is only ONE of Harvey Brody's many money-making and money keeping strategies. I know Bob has put in some hard work on his project, and has actually DONE what he teaches in the report. There are thousands of "stored value" opportunities out there, but you have to get your feet wet, get a little bruised and bloody from being in the trenches, and be PERSISTANT...which Bob certainly has been. Toll Position strategy is a long term success method which, in my opinion, is without peer in the whole "own a business/product" field. 55+ years of continuous success is hard to beat...and Harvey Brody has the experience and was gracious enough to share it with me and with Bob. I am not an affiliate of Bob's, but I think he presents some pretty solid "get started" information regarding finding products to "take over" and to profit from. Gordon J. Alexander Quote:

Re: Bob Blagg is a DOER.
Hey Gordon,
After rereading Bob's book I found I had overlooked a couple of steps. I'm one of those individuals that does things systematically. When I went back and reread I found where I had gone off the beaten path so to speak. It wasn't critical but like I said, I do things systematically. BTW if anyone here is interested go over to Bob's website. He is offering a free download at the bottom of his page Just One Good Product. Come to think of it, if you know someone who is out of work and looking to get back on their feet and is entrepreneurial send them to Bob's website. Or buy the material and give them an early birthday gift. Peace and Success to all who want it |

Promotional Guy: I want to Thank You!!! for the kind words.
GordonJ: I have always been a procrastinator, that was until I met you. You pushed me and guided me until I completed my course. You made me a DOER and I want to Thank You!!! for that. If anyone ever needs my help feel free to contact me. |
Re: Bob Blagg is a DOER.
Hi Bob:
What kind of results have you had selling your products that you have exclusive rights for? I know that you have had success in getting the rights for some products, but how has the selling side of it been going? Have you managed to get your products into any retailers or mail order catalogs? What sales methods have you found success with? I think this info would be very helpful and interesting. Thanks Bob. Re: Bob Blagg is a DOER
Hi Bill,
The selling side has gone good and bad. I have found that most people want to Bag the Elephant. But that is not always the right path to follow. There are a lot of ways to make money with a product besides selling to the retail giants. Selling is not the most important thing when it comes to this process; either is obtaining exclusive rights to a product. As Harvey Brody finally got through my thick skull, the proper evaluation of a product’s true potential is the most important step in the process. That is why I have devoted a good number of pages in my course to this process If you do not properly evaluate a product you can end up spending a lot of time on a product that has no chance or marginal chance of success when you should just let the product go and move on. |
Re: Bob Blagg is a DOER
Hi Bob:
Thanks for you reply. Selling may not be the most important first step of the process but once you have done the proper evaluation of the product, selling would have to be the most important next step since without sales you have no income. Since you have obtained rights to products already, we can assume that you have already done a proper evaluation of these products. So how are you currently marketing your products? Thanks again. Re: Bob Blagg is a DOER
Hi Bill,
I have marketed and continue to market my products in many ways. What I mean by this is that I use the way that is best for the particular product at the time I want to market it. I know that for a lot of people that is not the answer they want to hear as they are looking for the one way that will make any product an instant success. But there is no such way. As I said the marketing depends on the product and the niche that the product fits into as well as other factors. In my course I list 18 ways to market a product and each product will have its own best way. |

Get Bob's course. I've got it and honestly I don't want many people to know what I've learned from Bob. I will say this, where Harvey Brody leaves off in his courses, Bob's course finishes by bringing the reader into the 21st century. Peace and Success to you |
Re: Bob Blagg is a DOER
Thanks Bob. I understand that you market your products in the best way for those particular products. I was hoping for some elaboration on what those ways were. Some specifics from someone who is doing it would be helpful. Can you elaborate on some of the ways you market your products?
And I know that someone else's products might be marketed more effectively in different ways. I get it. I am interested in hearing about your particular methods of selling and your success with them. To hear specifics from someone doing it would be helpful. Thanks again. Quote:
