In need of TRANSCRIPTION services.

I am looking for someone to transcribe several audio programs. Can anyone make a suggestion or recommend someone?

Thanks,

Gordon Alexander

GordonJ September 25, 2006 08:32 PM

Thanks James, but I'd rather pay someone else to do it.

My old fat little fingers just can't pound the keys like they once could, so I'll farm this stuff out. Thanks.

Gordon

PS. The price is going up UP and UP. Better hurry if you want to get the Beginner's Guide to Chatteling:

Re: In need of TRANSCRIPTION services.

You could try http://www.idictate.com

They offer a 100 word free trial:

http://www.idictate.com/tryfree.shtml

You can submit your recordings over the phone, or convert them to .wav files and then submit them through their website:

http://www.idictate.com/faq.shtml

Here are some other possibilities:

Hi Gordon!

I have a friend in Minneapolis who does transcribing. Her contact info is at: http://www.lauriekristensen.com/

I hope this benefits you.

Gordon, I have really been enjoying some of the books I had the good fortune of buying from you a year or so ago. I had read them when they first arrived but sometimes we need a refresher and it has been on time in my life.

Thank you my friend!

Thanks to everyone, turns out a neighbor can do it. Next question...

I've noted that GOLF products seem to sell on ClickBank...and I've got the BEST golf product out there...so I'd like to make this an affiliate program, but I've never done that before.

The product will have my COPYRIGHTED and Proprietary GOLF information that will include THINK AND REACH PAR, How to Play an Unknown Golf Course Like a Big Bux Pro, and a newly revised:

Geezer Gamesmanship; How to Outfox, Outflank and Outfinesse Today's Whippersnappers.

I'd like to include them all in one SUPER package and offer a substantial affiliate program...but I'm at a loss, having ignored this for too long...so, if you have any experience with ClickBank and affiliate programs...I may have a pretty good deal for you, let me know.

Gordon (Mr. Golf GEEZER to You) Alexander

PS. The ebay test of The Beginner's Guide to Chatteling ends Sept. 30. I'll be posting results of the test at the forum for Chatteling, to be announced soon.

This version is testing a sub title and FORUM support.

And another question...

Gordon,

I've not used ClickBank for any of my stuff because it's priced so low, but I have spent some time reading over the info.

It really doesn't seem to be that hard.. All you need to do is set up a "Thank You" page to direct your customers to once they make their purchase.

What about the download page?

And the PROMOTION?

Doesn't that have to be hosted somewhere? And what about setting up the site itself? And the affiliate program?

I'm looking for someone who USES ClickBank, has an affiliate program in operation and can answer a few questions. But, Pete,

I DO appreciate your input. Thanks, what I need is an A to Z DUMMIES guide to clickbank...that even a 7 year old would understand.

Gordon... On the mention of GOLF products seem to sell on ClickBank...

Checkout this news article...

Today, RockBottomGolf is one of the largest sporting goods retailers on eBay and has established its own Web site, www.RockBottomGolf.com. It is on track to record $24 million in sales this year, Smith said.

Their Niche Golf Market just might have an interest in (Mr. Golf GEEZER to You) Alexander's Stuff. :)

You're looking at spending about $75.

1. Get a domain name and hosting
$25 at http://www.doteasy.com

2. Create a sales page and a thank you page. Upload it to your hosting server along with your documents and reports. (If you need more help on this, let me know and I'll walk you through it. But I don't think it'll be harder than hosting sites on angelfire.)

3. Create a clickbank a/c and pay them $49.95. You'll have to follow a few simple steps. You should read this page:
http://www.clickbank.com/getting_started.html#Step02

That should get you started. Then the main thing is promoting your affiliate program and recruiting more affiliates. And then selling more products at the backend.

Another site you might want to check out is:
http://www.paydotcom.com for the affiliate system. They use PayPal. Good thing about them is they are free to start with. But they don't have as many affiliates as clickbank.

GordonJ September 26, 2006 03:10 PM

Thanks Phil, now I have my evening reading to do...

That is a great site on clickbank. That's tonight's homework...and later, I'll look at the golf site...and maybe rethink my golf attitude...HEY, it appears that I have...

MUCH appreciated Phil Now if we could only get you to quit posting those dang LAST CHANCE at some great information posts...and speaking of Archives...

ONE of these days (yea, when I get the time...HA!) I'm going to do a Phil search and just create an ebook to sell {and I may even let people who visit the forum know about it too} just from the posts you've made the past year...MORE useful info in there than we deserve to get...but please,

keep it coming.
And again,

THANKS.

Gordon Jay Alexander

PS. LOOK, no link to any of my ebay stuff. Someone must be happy ;)

Here's how you can setup an affiliate program...

Hi,

It seems that you're hunting for setting up
an affiliate program for your golf site.

If yes, then here's the solution...

However you can do this for f!r-e-e with just
one time investment of $97 by getting UAM script.

I am personally using this script to run my own
affiliate program.

Apart from affiliate programs this script will
also help you to automate your autoresponders,
newsletter blasting system, link tracking system,
order management, contact forms and also your
affiliate management system.

You can start your own in house affiliate program
using this script and you can use any type of
payment processing system to handle payment
and track your affiliates. You can use either clickbank,
paypal, checks, etc.

And you don't have to pay any fees to any affiliate
network company to handle your affiliate program.
As soon as your affiliate makes a sale you can directly
pay him through check or paypal, it is that simple.

I have created 2 hours step by step videos that will
show you how to set all this up.

If you're interested let me know and I will give you
more details about the script and videos
and can also help you in installation and integration
if you're interested.

You can get back to me at 7daystoearn.com/contact.html

Aloha Gordon,

I do NOT recommend idictate.com. They overcharged me the last time I used them by almost $100.

I am now using...

Aloha,
