Could someone, anyone, please check out paydotcom.com to see if it is UP?
Thanks.
I just started the affiliate program and I'm using www.paydotcom.com It seems to have disappeared on my computer, how about yours? I need to know if I have a problem or they do... may have to switch to clickbank or keep a simple PayPal affiliate program and limit the number. Thanks for your help. I'll delete this post a little later today. GJA |
Re: Could someone, anyone, please check out paydotcom.com to see if it is UP?
Hi Gordon,
I just attempted to access paydotcom.com using IE, Firefox, and Opera. It appears the site is currently Down... Maybe they're just having some network errors or something. They'll probably be back up shortly... :) Christopher |
Re: Could someone, anyone, please check out paydotcom.com to see if it is UP?
Gordon,
It's down for me also. Clark |
Thanks for checking...I wonder how often this happens?
I appreciate you checking...and now I have to wonder if I made a mistake using them?
Anyone with paydotcom experience? Is this just a coincidence, or am I doomed at paydotcom? GJA |

Hi Gordon, Good Question. Sometimes (although EXTREMEMLY RARE) PayPal has experienced Difficulties (down time) so there's No Guarantee that they'll be UP 100% of the time... I just registered with PayDotCom.com, so I'm not too familiar with the site and their services, yet... Hope This Helps... Thanks. Christopher |
Re: Could someone, anyone, please check out paydotcom.com to see if it is UP?
Hi Gordon,
I was kinda Surprised when you chose www.paydotcom.com from the list of affiliate software and other networks posted on SowPubs But I figured you just wanted to get down to some Quick and Easy business. :) Even though www.paydotcom.com is part of the http://www.mikefilsaime.com/ company... If you review their forum and support, unfortunately they get a Failing grade of unanswered questions, concerns of why posts sit for weeks/months waiting to get posting approval etc... They started off with Big talk of being so much better than ClickBank but Under Deliver... in my opinion... Here's another Option and addition to add to the Affiliate software/network list. ;) http://www.associateprograms.com/art...tting-it-wrong 2. How could you beat ClickBank - and all the others? Phil, would I be better with clickbank or

I went with PayDotCom because I didn't and don't want a WHOLE bunch of affiliates...just a few. And I thought (duh) that this would be a better choice. I need to move quickly, ads are in place and coming out soon. PHIL, which do you think is a better move? GJ |
Re: Phil, would I be better with clickbank or
Boy that's a Tough one...
I'm sure others would disagree with my comments and are ok with them but thought I should bring it up. You may be better temporarily to use PayPal so you don't lose sales as they're still Down... I posted a few more links in that post about https://www.saleflurry.com/ Business always has Tough decisions But most say the "New" Click Bank is here to stay and https://www.saleflurry.com/ looks like they have a good Future Too! Re: Phil, would I be better with clickbank or
Gordon,
One more note... You may want to contact "Skip" who uses a Split Payment type Affiliate system for his affiliates through Paypal... It was discussed on SowPubs but the thread must still be in the old Archives that Dien is still working on... Phil |

Paydotcom has been verry slow many a times. This is the first time I've seen it go down completely... But I've been using it since just over 2 months now. Not sure how it used to do before that. Gordon - if you are selling just 1 product - then go with clickbank. Clickbank doesn't make much sense only if you are going to sell multiple products through one website. But if its just a one product "mini" website - then clickbank is the best. |

5 Reasons Why we No longer Use PayDotCom...
Since https://paydotcom.com/ is still Down at this time...
I did some Quick Googling... Of course, many different comments on how https://paydotcom.com/ will become Bigger and Better than Click Bank... What it did Do is make Click Bank take Notice... And re-work and re-Think more on their business... Definitely, some Nice changes vs. the Old model... http://www.clickbank.com/index.html http://www.clickbank.com/marketplace.html http://web.archive.org/web/*sa_/http....clickbank.com There's some Good business Lessons in this and maybe some ideas regarding your Competition. :) 5 Reasons Why we No longer Use PayDotCom... http://www.justinharrison.com/blog/4...use-paydotcom/ http://affiliate-marketing-forums.5s...read.php?t=953 Would be nice if http://www.mikefilsaime.com/ would comment on these concerns. ;) Phil |
Re: 5 Reasons Why we No longer Use PayDotCom...
Ok they're still Alive. :)
Atleast at this time! Must be my comments. ;) Phil |
Thanks to everyone, I'll leave this thread up because
it contains some good info in it and if there is anyone else who wants to do an affiliate program, limited that is, and does not want to use clickbank, then maybe this thread will come in handy.

Re: Could someone, anyone, please check out paydotcom.com to see if it is UP?
Hi Gordon,
Looks like it's back up now, but it was down even into the Wee Hours of the morning... Christopher |
Gordon... Mr. Chattel...
Don't mean to Publicize your http://www.chatteling.com/ business. :)
Wouldn't want anyone to get upset Again... about your Sig File. ;) But what did you end up deciding on the Affiliate program... Or is it contact you for more info regarding the http://www.chatteling.com Affiliate program... Phil |
Big SHOUT OUT to Skip, and I'm testing the split commissions even as we speak...
or type.
Thanks Phil, God forbid I should ever actually sell anything HA!... I'm testing out Skip's split commissions sofware, and I need to THANK HIM for all his help, he sent very detailed instructions. And, I think I've got all the bugs (that I added) worked out. It seems to be working just fine. This will be fine as long as I limit the number of affiliates, probably just to those already in the GJA Chatteling group...I noticed at paydotcom that a couple of people I didn't KNOW had signed up (in the whole 3 hours that I had it posted)...to be an affiliate...which probably is good if I want JUST an affiliate plan... Skip's way is a little more labor intensive, for now, but I can create pretty quickly and I like the idea of not having a 3rd party involved. Anyhow, I'm going with a Split Commission for now. Thanks for asking Phil, and please, walk on your tippy toes, I wouldn't want to wake any one up around here....he.he. Gordon Jay |
