Michael Ross and I had an Idea....
As you may know, I haven't been posting much lately, due to being very busy "behind the scenes".... Michael Ross and I have been creating a great new product, and we're both pretty excited about it!
If you've ever read Michael Ross's posts, you may notice that Michael has a certain "genius" for coming up with incredibly good, yet practical, business ideas. You may not know of this, but Michael spent many years as a business and marketing consultant, and with that kind of background, his business ingenuity has been honed to perfection. He's trained himself to see and recognize business ideas all around him. I'm always stunned when I speak to him on the phone at all his business insights! You can even see the evidence of it here at Sowpub.... There is no other product even on the market which is like "The Art of Leverage".... Nothing else is like "The Success Report". And we keep getting "fan email" for the Entrepreneur's Hotsheet. And if you look at Michael's posts, the evidence is there too - I've been a big fan of Michael's stuff on various business forums for many years. He's a no-holds-barred, tell-it-like-it-is kind of guy. Yes, he's sometimes blunt, but you know that what he's saying is absolutely accurate. When I heard about this new idea of his, I JUMPED at the opportunity to help make it a reality! Why? Because I knew that this was something I wanted to get myself! So, what's the big "secret" project? I think you'll like it.... We call it "The Great Ideas Letter". It is a treasure-trove of interesting, unusual, and practical new business ideas which you will receive EVERY WEEK. As you could imagine, this is a serious undertaking, so we can't give it away for free, but we have tried to keep the price easily affordable. And we've even thrown in a nice added bonus, arranged in such a way that you "can't lose".... When you read our descriptive page, you'll see what I mean. :) If you'd like to check out the details of what you could be receiving, go to this page now.... Dien Rice |
The first issue comes out
this Wednesday, so subscribe by then to be sure to get it!
And remember - if you're unsure, you can take up the "monthly" subscription for only $7.99 a month (that's about the price of an inexpensive meal). If you don't discover profitable new business ideas, then you can unsubscribe whenever you wish. And you'll still get to keep Jimmy Krug's $27 "special report"! You really "can't lose"! Why would we do this? Because we believe you'll like what you read.... So we're taking a "gamble" that you'll want to stay subscribed. We're taking on all the risk. :) - Dien Rice |
And one more thing...
The Great Ideas Letter contains NO ADS and NO AFFILIATE LINKS either. It's just chock full of good ideas...

Question
Hi,
Are the ideas higher quality or more effective money-makers than the ones that many people, including moi, have publicly posted here at sowpub.com? Respectfully, - Boyd |
Re: Question
Hi Boyd,
Why not try it and see? We will also be spending our own money to test many of the ideas we will write about, and include the results of these tests.... We will probably add new features as time goes by too, in order to keep improving The Great Ideas Letter. However, the only way to know if it is for you is to try it out and decide for yourself. We've structured it so you can do exactly that.... For just $7.99, you can try it for a month, and you get Jimmy Krug's special report too. (Jimmy Krug sells this report from his web site for $27.) If you don't get useful business ideas from one month's subscription, then you are free to stop your subscription (and you get to keep the special report too). We've set it up like this on purpose - we wanted to make it as risk-free as possible for subscribers to try it out. I honestly believe you can't lose by giving it a try. - Dien Rice The Great Ideas Letter... |
Re: Michael Ross and I had an Idea....
That's an absolutely "great!" idea, Dien. I can't wait to get my first issue.
Success, Erik P.S. Does anyone ever really ponder how our journey in business and in life really is the fun of it all? How the challenge of a new idea can be more exhilarating than the steady money earning of a stale one? |
Erik, BEWARE!
Erik,
Granted the challenge of new ideas is exhilarating, but it can also be the downfall of some of us -- abandoning an already producing idea to venture off into "creativityland". Ask me how I know. : ) Best Wishes, Jim Erskine Homeway Press > P.S. Does anyone ever really ponder how our > journey in business and in life really is > the fun of it all? By the way...
I don't want anyone to read me wrong. This is not meant as a slam to Dien & Michael's new letter at all. (I'm even a subscriber.) I just meant that it as a general observation of a particular type of enterpreneur (ie. me).

Re: Michael Ross and I had an Idea....
My take on the first issue:
organized... clear... detailed.. and gives you concrete tips... why should you pay for someone to give you ideas? look at it this way: if "time is money" then any publication you can find which cuts the research time is worth it... Also ,since the publication ideas are ones where you don't need any major skills to start you can begin practicing small business development skills and as you get each issue you could integrate your interests with the ideas or methodology provided... I really liked the first issue...I think with this format(weekly organized detailed study of ideas and how to develop them) I'll be able to find an area or action method to implement some of my ideas. Another thing-when people suggest business ideas on boards(not this one of course-smile)they often leave out the critical details or the key piece of information which you need to implement the idea. Definitely looking forward to future issues... |
That's why...
Jim
You'll notice that everything covered in the issue of The Great Ideas Letter you received is, able to be put into action (tested) without taking away from whatever else you are doing. Take Great Idea 1, for example. Even though we didn't have a Twist to that one, is there something in your area which the same technique could be applied? Bits of fossile from shale, indian arrow heads, volcano ash/rocks, etc. Michael Ross. P.S. If you haven't subscribed yet, do it now while you're reading this message. It'll only take a minute. But I like "creativityland"! It sure beats the pants off Disneyland. > Ask me how I know. : ) Tell us some stories, Jim. I'll share one or two of my own. Yes, the really pathetic ones. Have a GREAT day, Jim! Erik |
reframing of great ideas!
Great Idea 1 could be used at times
of disaster..(fires, floods)Not to capitalize on someone elses fall... mmmm...good point... for that matter all the great ideas(1-4) could be used during a disaster too... the more I look at this "great ideas letter" (i'll review it "17 times") the more I see... Thanks Michael...
