100k a month eBay seller, 1000 a month from HOTSHEETS and 500 a mo from RESUMES
Ah, finally getting some work done. I now have 20/20 vision, still a week or two from healing completely, but now that I can see again, I've got a lot of catching up to do. So let me share a little research with you.
There is a lady on eBay who will train you (if you are accepted) to become a seller on eBay. She charges 499 bux for this 1 on 1 training. She does over $100,000.00 a month in sales with her own eBay biz (not from selling her course, only deals with 2 people at a time), so she probably knows what she's talking about. We don't hear much from eBay these days, or about it...other than Glenn's TESTS...which are always fascinating reads. I think 500 bux for some personal training is a good deal. Especially if it is from someone who is doing it. Then there is a guy on eBay selling HOTSHEETS. His twist? They are on CD. What? PLANS!! One of the first thing I talk about in the HOTSHEETs report, plans. He sells PLANS and from my tracking he's doing about 1000 dollars a month, his average price is roughly 30 dollars, so he's selling about one CD a day on average. He does charge shipping and handling, so I have to guess his profit is going to be pretty close to his sales price, if he's figured in postage and fees. Then there is a lady who is doing a resume every 3 days. She charges 30 dollars and will do between 10 and 17 a month. Just dabbles really, but 15 X 30 dollars is: 450 dollars a month of additional income. I mention these because they are ideas we've discussed and fleshed out here. And the reason I bring them up now is it is my opinion it will be a good time to get some Xtra income, preferably all CASH coming into your coffers. Even when (not if) the Hyper Inflation hits and the dollar won't buy then what it does today, CASH will get you discounts that make your dollar go further. OF course, I'm going to resume my CHATTELING on a more routine basis, but I'm also exploring some software development and working on a specific industry's needs for a "bread and butter" deal. eBay is still a great place to find ideas, get a peek at what people WANT, find buyers and test promotions...and to SELL stuff too. here is a link to eBay research
Hi Glenn,
Here is a link to her training offer. http://cgi.ebay.com/Sell-Ebay-Home-B...item1e5c0078c0 She sells EVERYTHING. Her eBay name is heatherl1809 so you can see what she has for sale. Check her completed listings. Amazing stuff. The Resume writer sells for 30 dollars. A search of completed listings found this for me, she has done 9 so far in May. The guy with the plans has some of the HIGHEST priced plans on CD ranging from 19 to 60 bux, I averaged him out at 30 for May sales. Thanks Glenn, I'm going to watch all of your videos and see if I can come up with something to test on eBay. Gordon Quote:

Thanks Gordon
Thanks,
It looks like you are using Digg to do research? I've not tried that. Perhaps I should. Glenn |
Re: here is a link to eBay research
Here's another very Cool search engine that focuses only on eBay auctions...
Just in case a few of you SowPub ebay Lovers aren't aware... ;) AuctionMapper is an extremely cool search engine that focuses only on eBay auctions. Sure, eBay has it's own site search; but AuctionMapper takes that site search and goes a few steps further... http://websearch.about.com/od/online...tionmapper.htm http://www.youtube.com/v/LDksjS5Fc0o Phil |
Glenn, I don't use any tools, but maybe I should
Glenn,
What I look for on eBay is BUYERS. I only want to see COMPLETED listings and I use the advanced search, mainly to put in dollar amouts. Take advice, or ebooks or information products. I'm not interested in the 99 cent guys. I look for price points, such as 25 to 50 or more. Depends on what I'm looking at. I find that sorting by completed listings, looking for price points, and number of bids...is all I need. IF I see something interesting, then I search by the name of the seller, again COMPLETED listings, so I can see what his/her month looks like. And if I find someone who is selling, then I track them and keep an eye on what they sell. It probably is a lot easier using some tools, but, I enjoy doing it, have it pretty much down to a quick and easy thing for me to do...and by now, I'm pretty specific in what categories I search...and the advanced search features using COMPLETED LISTINGS (looking for Demand) always turns up some interesting things. A Man Posing as a Woman On Ebay Making 150Grand a mo
Howdy,
Thanks for the Ebay ideas. Found a Psychological conundrum on Ebay. I tracked down a powerseller on Ebay doing 150K or more a month. (I'll have to double check this before I share more.) And sent her a question FILLED with specifics about her #1 most successful category of niched product sales. Kitchen and home wares. I got an email then a phone call from JEFF. Not JILL as I was expecting! JEFF was very amused at my confusion. But kindly explained. He's tested. And he gets tons more sales with a female Ebay "Handle" than as a man. JEFF thinks it's because buyers think they can TAKE ADVANTAGE of a woman more easily. But perhaps women feel more comfy buying Kitchen and home stuff from another woman. I'm Not Sure. What do you think? It sure is STRANGE the things you find out when you start researching what successful people REALLY DO! Not what they say they do. Thanks, Glenn |

Glenn,
I clicked on all 4 of your links and got this message: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /watch/stUEpRQUxIRFtYRFxYWF5QV1FS on this server. Evidently they are blocked. Or, in the alternative, my computer or its operator experienced an error. Tom Quote:
