Weird $100,000 Client --Aura Handshake--Referral System [Reposted from archive]

Hi,

I gotta write a book about Weird, Wacky, Goofy Referral Systems
because I just heard a Lulu.

Get This.

A Top realtor in Canada says, "I just banked an extra 100K in the last few months
because I discovered a New Way to get Clients."

I say, "Oh really. Do tell."

Jerry says, "I am now getting referred to Tech Geniuses from India who - Like me - Meditate every day.

"We are Self Aware - Can See and Hear And STOP our own thoughts
in order to Prevent bad habits.

"So when I walk into a room full of Millionaire Meditation people from India
They can TELL I am also meditating. Come over to me. And buy a house from me.

I say, "Oh come on. How can they tell?"

So Jerry tells me this True story...

Jerry - "I'm doing this open house when a young Indian guy walks in with his
Father. The Dad is dressed all in white. Obviously some kind of Meditation
Master back in India."

The Father sees me.

Bows and Flashes his aura Bright white.

I bow back and Flash my aura Bright White back at him.

(I interrupt. "You can see Auras? Now I'm jealous. That makes 4 people in
my Mastermind network who can see People's auras.)

Jerry - "Yes I can. You should have seen the HUGE smile the Father
gave me. And it turns out he doesn't speak English.

"But the son turns to me and says, (My father says you are a GOOD Man and
we will give you our home shopping business.)

ME Thinking out loud - "So you are using your Aura to do a Chi/Aura Handshake
that Introduces you to Prospects BEFORE You say a word?"

Jerry - "Exactly."

And I'm thinking, "Oh brother. NOBODY is gonna Believe This."

Hi Glenn,

There certainly are some seemingly "mystical" and/or "spiritual" techniques that some very rich people (multimillionaires) swear by...

Of course, some of the methods Napoleon Hill wrote about might be considered a bit "mystical" too...

If you can learn how to do it, it doesn't hurt to try...!

Thanks for sharing...! Very few people speak about this stuff...

Best wishes,

The Same Client Also Uses A Starbucks Gift Card Referral System [Reposted fr archive]

Thanks Dien,

An article I read says that 85% of Americans drink coffee.

Puts me in the minority.

My #1 Realtor Client ONLY sends the Starbucks Gift Card
to clients who have bought homes from him.

He gets lots and lots of Referrals from
these happy home buyers who are REMINDED of their Pleasurable Experience
AND

The gift card also Engages the GOLDEN RULE of Reciprocity.

And a Referral is the only way they can say THANKS.

Glenn

P.S. - I suggested his Insert $1350 BONUS in the same envelope.
Which will force them to CALL his office to get my $1350 LED Report.

The More You Give The More You Get Back.

I LOVE the power of reciprocity...!

Why? Because everyone loves it... and you make more sales (i.e. more money), too!

How can you beat that?

I need to incorporate more reciprocity into what I do...

I love the idea of gift cards for reciprocity. They have value, and are light and compact to carry around and hand out...

The realtor is a smart cookie to use these. He probably makes thousands in commissions... Yet a simple gift card makes people feel like they owe him... And, they're also very happy to receive it too!

It's brilliant...

You could transform your life by giving more away, and relying on the influential power of reciprocity...!

(I love your ideas using reciprocity based on lotto tickets, and dollar bills, too... )

Thanks, Glenn!

Best wishes, :)

$100 Bill Referral System SO SUCCESSFUL It Got My Friend FIRED [Reposted fr archive]

Howdy,

My friend Ben was hired to sell boats made in New Zealand.

At 1st he set up Joint Ventures with Yacht Clubs
and Owners of Yacht Showrooms all up and down the West Coast.

Then he Tried CASH.

He wrote a short letter to ALL previous New Zealand Fish/WorkBoat Buyers
saying, "I've got a $100 Bill for you - for Every Single Friend or
boating associate you BRING to the XYZ Boat Show Next Week."

(Ben knew from personal experience and Testing that
9 of 10 people who got a Tour of this Combo Fishing/Work Boat
WANTED ONE.)

Why did he get fired?

Well...

A - His Letter Sold 100% of the Boats on hand at the boat show.

B - 100% of the boats the company could make for the next year.

C - AND 100% of the boats they could build the year after THAT.

Ben got Paid a Massive Commission.

But Everyone in the company was MAD at Him.

Punch you in the face.
Break your Bones.
Shoot to Kill - MAD.

All of their Jobs were UN-Necessary - for the next TWO YEARS.

100 Million Dollars a Year MLM Referral System [Reposted from archive]

Thanks Dien,

So I am googling away trying to find an MLM
for a customer who lost his 100,000.00 a year job.

I find a couple successful Distributors
but come to find out - they are working Weekend NITES.

Going out to meet ONE Prospect at a time.

So I kept digging.

Found and contacted and Interviewed a Lady from the Netherlands
who is making 100 million a year.

Her Secret?

The MLM company she works for Hired some Scientists
who designed an HERBAL Cocktail in 3 pills that takes away hunger.

Eat 3 Pills.

YOU ARE NOT HUNGRY for 8 to 10 HOURS!

I asked Natalie about her OWN Experience with the product. She said, "I was 60 pounds overweight. I kept eating the pills until I was skinny."

I said, "You mean you lost all 60 pounds in on long fasting program?"

Now.

She has many 1000's of distributors who buy
and give away 3 pills - to people who lose weight.

To get MORE they have to attend a seminar - where Blonde - Blue Eyed
Amazon Natalie Speaks.

She Flies a LOT.

At each Event Natalie BUYS everyone there for the 3 day event
enough pills so they are NOT HUNGRY.

Close to 100% SIGN UP!

(Not me, of course. I've been eating The Most Nutritious God-Created
Mineral - a special kind of Super Blue Green Algae - for 24 years. Stay thin, have plenty of energy and Never Get Sick. CHEAPER for me to pay Obamas Penalty
than to join his Health Care Program.)

But You Have to Admire
the power of this "Referral-System-In-a-Pill."

Oh yeah.

In case you were wondering.

THE INSTANT you stop eating the pills you are as Hungry as a GRIZZLY
BEAR after not eating all winter.

Thanks,

$5000 A Day ONE-FINGER-TOUCH Silicon Valley Waitress Referral System [Rep fr archive]

Hi,

I was at a Trade Show for a client.

Spotted something WEIRD going on.

Followed the Free Chocolate Cookie
trail outside and then into a Warehouse
set up as a Restaurant.

Tracked down the lady behind the whole thing.

Got her story.

In a Nutshell.

Patricia's Dad invested in Restaurants. And in btwn waitress gigs
she rode along with him and often WAITED outside
while he Dad negotiated with a Restaurant owner.

ONE DAY.

Patricia noticed an old lady touching customers
with ONE FINGER.

The old Ladies TIPS were so Huge
she carried a Fanny Pack to stuff the bills into.

Patricia considered herself a FANTASTIC waitress and was #1
in the tip getting Department at her own Restaurant.

But this old gal made her look like an amateur.

500% more tips than Patricia was getting!

Patty came back to eat there.
Watched the old lady work her magic.

Started Testing herself.

Immediately her tips jumped 5 TIMES.

But then she discovered something MAGICAL.

a - Patricia set up her station so she would have extra napkins, straws, salt, pepper, catsup, A-1 Sauce, Mustard, And a couple DOZEN other things she
can Bring to the table.

WHY?

b - Because Patty discovered the MORE EXCUSES she has to visit each table
and the more Times she can FINGER TOUCH the person who pays...

c - THE MORE TIPS she makes.

Patty says 60% of her 5000.00 a day of tips come from this ONE IDEA.

I
HAD
a
Comment.

"I read a Scientific Study that says that if Babies aren't touched when they are
Born They DIE."

Patty Exclaimed, "Wow, maybe that Explains why my Finger Touch has such
a Profound Effect on my customers. They LOVE ME."

Patty went on to tell me Exactly
WHERE to touch.

How You either Get ZERO REACTION if
You Touch them in the Wrong place.

OR

TOO MUCH of a reaction - as in the men
chase you around the restaurant trying
to get a date.

Wanna find out Where
You Should Touch prospects
and Clients and Referral Sources
to get them to PAY YOU MORE MUNNY?

$5000K PER DAY in tips for an 8 hour (presumably) shift as a waitress?

That's $25k PER WEEK, $100K PER MONTH on a 5-day work week! AS A WAITRESS?

What kind of restaurant is this, some private country club? Still...?

Shoot, I'd put on a skirt and wig and waitress for that kind of dough, even half that kind of dough for not touching somebody. Forget the high heels though!

That has to be a mis-print. I'm just sayin...

I knew girls who worked in high end gentlemen clubs in Atlanta and Florida and made a killing but nothing like those wages.

I better tell my girlfriend when she gets home from work this evening that we're going to be moving and she better give her 2 weeks notice cause she's going to be a waitress in her new career.

Even if she only makes 20% of what this waitress makes every day we'll be 'livin large' and I can stay home and play online backgammon all day.

Hi Glenn,

That sounds like a very good - and offbeat - idea, to use reciprocity for a specific market...

"Shred day" - I love it...!

It also gets them there to see the site as well...

Hi Glenn,

Thanks for sharing that story... Certainly, something like this can work like gangbusters...!

Denny Hatch has a story which has some parallels in his book "Method Marketing." I don't happen to have that book handy at the moment (it's at a different location)...

I found the table of contents online... It's in chapter 15, "Western Monetary Consultants, William R. Kennedy: Warren Buffett Wannabe"...

From memory...

One guy organized a big "junket" - a paid trip, including travel and accommodation - and made the promotion to a mailing list he purchased. All the people had to do was to attend a presentation, I think it was a seminar on gold investing... The company he was running made money from selling precious metals to investors.

Denny Hatch got one of those invitations. So, he and his wife went.

It was great! All paid for... He went to the seminar on gold investing, and lots of others were there, too. And also could take time while he was there to have a holiday...

The problem was, he wasn't really "qualified" to be there as an investor!

The mistake this guy made was, he didn't properly qualify the people he made the offer to! So, in that case, it was probably a lot of money down the drain... It sure got the people there, you just have to make sure that only the RIGHT people see the offer!

In your friend Ben's case, he did have a well-qualified list - which was previous buyers of New Zealand boats, which was also what he wanted to sell.

With the right list - this approach could definitely work well... The right "freebie" would certainly get the attention of the right people. But, if you're paying for the attention of the wrong people (like the case in Denny Hatch's story), it could not work out... So there's a good profit-making lesson there! :)

Thanks Glenn!

Best wishes,

Dien

Thanks Clawhammer - 100.00 per person meals ADD UP [Reposted from archive]

Thanks Clawhammer,

I coach a CabDriver in New York City.

Increased His tips by 300% by having him
Give each passenger a LOTTO TICKET.

Then his tips went up another 5 TIMES!

What did he do different?

Parked in front of 100.00 per plate Restaurants.

SAME THING in San Francisco.

If 10 people come into a 100.00 per meal Restaurant. That is 1000 BUCKS.
Then you order Wine. Another 500 to 2000 smackers.

Perhaps you get a few side dishes AND Peach melba
of Strawberries Flame - which the chef comes out to set on FIRE himself.

You are up to 4000.00 or more.

20% of 4000.00 = $800 Tip.

Only 5 Groups like that and your tips are FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS. But this Girl - Who now owns her OWN Restaurant...

Often got 500.00 tips from tables with only 2 or 3 patrons.

I often TIP my waitress
with her Magic Finger Touch Strategy.

Funny thing.

I have to ask to be seated at a table served by the #1 Waitress
who gets the most tips. Because the other girls are too CHICKEN to
try the Finger Touch Tactic.

Thanks,
Glenn

P.S. - Your SMILING Porker image brings back memories.

I worked for an Old Farmer who sold piglets to visitors. MY job was to put them headfirst into a burlap bag.

Kicking and squealing like the dickens.

THOSE Shiny teeth of yours are not quite right. When the MAMA Pig breaks thru
the fence to rescue her babies - her teeth are Bigger and Yellow - not white.

Skin Care Referral System at Trade Shows Makes Karen 3 Million a Yr [Rep fr archive]

Hi,

I met a 70 yr old woman Cosmetics Company owner who looks 40.

Her Brochure has a photo of her husband
who does not use her product - standing next to her.

Women all over the Trade Show DRAG their girlfriends over to her booth
to SEE for themselves.

Karen found an old recipe in a book.

Gathers the ingredients from fields and hedgerows herself.

Mixes it up in a bathtub.

REALLY WORKS.

Pretty funny that the MACHO hubby who refuses to use her product
is making her Rich.

20 Million MLM Mentor Looks 20 Years Younger Than Her Age [Reposted from archive]

Thanks Dien,

I found a newspaper article listing the top 10 Direct Sales Companies
in the world.

All Network Marketing.

ALL TEN feature Skin Care and Cosmetics and looking younger.

So.

When I sent two of my coaching clients to meet
Barb Swanson - who makes 20 mil a year from Helping people
with Health and Energy problems - using the "New Earth Super Blue Green Algae
Products...

I
was
not
Surprised
to get
this email.

I put the LAST SENTENCE - first. Because - for women - it's all about
LOOKING YOUNGER.

---------------
"They don't want to look old and these 70 yr old people all look 55 so my aunt and mom definitely became interested!"
---------------

Email from Richard - College Student...

Spoke with Barb today. I brought Ricardo and my Aunt we had an awesome
time. We all laughed our faces off. I took down some notes on Barb.

Basically she hosts a potluck people share their stories, she answers questions
and then people buy. Her key is that she REALLY knows her product. Just her
level of knowledge on Blue Green Algae makes you trust her and her word. It
also feels very natural as well.

She's just sharing a product that works and a money making opportunity.

She just said things like "Sure you have arthritis, use such and such because it'll
do such and such and you'll feel much better within a month or so."

Or put yourself on $100 monthly auto-ship and sign 3 other people up for $100 auto ship and you'll get a $300 check. No other company does that".

Everyone's saying wow really? What I liked most about her was her warm
atmosphere. She has this kinda glow that just makes you feel nice inside.

I told her about doing presentations. She said just ask them what they want and
after listening you mention a New a Earth product that will assist them in achieving that.

So my mom and aunt will sign up in a couple days with my associate ID and be
on Blue Green Algae!

Barb and some other people at the meeting really helped my aunt and mom
understand the importance of health.

They don't want to look old and these 70 yr old people all look 55 so my aunt and
mom definitely became interested!

-Richard

#1 Brisbane Australia Real Estate Brokerage MANICURE Referral System [Rep fr archive]

Hi,

I interviewed one of the young turks of the office.

He was dismissive.

Didn't understand what his boss was doing.

The Owner of the Brokerage hires young people right out of college
with not much understanding of Professional Grooming.

So as not to insult them.

HE TOLD THEM, "Bring your prospects back to the office where we offer
free coffee and snacks and manicure, pedicure, hair-care and a Masseusse. Which will give you time to make sales in a relaxed environment."

GENIUS.

His young sales people GET EDUCATED and look great
while thinking about clients and home sales.

No surprise this brokerage is growing so fast.

Chipotle Fast Food SCARY Movie/App - Self Referral System

Hi,

When I came across an Article about How Chipotle Fast Food
Restaurants Raised Revenue in 2 years by 1 BILLION DOLLARS
to 3.5 billion.

Grew the # of Stores from 1350 to 1700.

By Educating their customers about using "Natural Meat". Dropping "Trans Fats" from their cooking. Offering "organically certified beans and avocados."

Cooking from Scratch...

"Fresh onions - peppers - raw meat."

I hate Avocados. SLIMY.

Can't eat Peppers.

Stopped eating at any fast-food stores and cut out Beef and Pork completely.

So I have No Personal Experience at Chipotle.

However.

I Was Happy That Educating Customers about The SOURCE of their HEALTHIER food was allowing Chipotle To RAISE THEIR PRICES and Sell More.

But.

WHOA!

I didn't realize they were using FEAR to do it.

Google "Chipotle Scarecrow Game"
to EXPERIENCE More of what I mean.

I
Couldn't
WATCH
the SCARECROW Short Movie.

And will NOT be Playing their App Game.

But 1 Billion Dollars In Extra Sales is PROOF that they are
SCARING millions of customers thru their doors with this Movie/App Game strategy.

4 Napa Rose-Disney Grand-Hotel& Spa Referral System(s)

Thanks Dien,

4 Napa Rose-Disney Grand-Hotel
& Spa Referral Systems

While doing some Research to follow up on what a client told me
he saw while doing construction at Disney California I found some
very Sneaky Referral Systems.

Referral #1 - Since the "Napa Rose Restaurant" is INSIDE the "Disney Grand Hotel and Spa" the Hotel and Spa Customers EAT THERE.

Referral #2 - When You Pay EXTRA to get a Room Hidden from the main
Restaurant - some kind of FLAMING Bonus item is brought to your table.

Walked past all the other customers.

WHO WANT THAT TOO.

So there is a Referral System to book the back rooms.

Referral #3 - A Shiny Flat Surface SNAKES around the Kitchen at the "Napa Rose
Restaurant."

Turns out IF you Make Special Reservations.

PAY EXTRA.

You can Eat At the "CHEF'S COUNTER" and watch all the food get cooked
and Prepared from CLOSE UP.

So close you can chat with the Cooks in the tall white hats and majestic
white outfits.

Referral #4 - Then if You Want to Eat Outside on The Patio - which LOOKS really
cool - because there is a Burning FIRE PIT in the middle Every Table.

Each table looks like a Donut with a hole in the middle. (The fire is in the middle.)

Again - some of the meal can be cooked there in front of you.

AND - Interactive Customer Cooking.

The Chef has Shish-kebobs and other food items - ALREADY
prepared for kids to hold over the fire.

It's Invisible.

But Pre-planned and Rather Diabolical.

Because once Disney gets you into the MAIN RESTAURANT - there
are at least THREE Referral Systems in place to MOVE YOU to
a different - more Expensive part of the Restaurant.

Thanks,
Glenn Osborn

Thanks Glenn,

Thanks for sharing these multiple referral systems that some very successful businesses are using...!

If you're not using similar types of referral systems yourself, then you are clearly "leaving money on the table," which could be in your pocket or bank account...

These are a treasure-trove of profitable ideas...!

How 2 Restaurant Owners Get Their Prospects AND Clients to PAY Them

Thanks Dien,

Am Writing a E-book niched for Restaurant Referrals.

CHAPTER #2 - How 2 Restaurant Owners Get Their Clients AND Prospects to PAY Them - Food Referral System

A - Fantastic Idea Borrowed from Lions Clubs and Chamber of Commerce
Groups.

I’ve visited dozens of Networking and Referral Groups.

Nobody there is making significant moolah from each group Except the Host AND the Guy who owns the Restaurant where they meet.

B - So When 2 people team up to Open a Vegan Restaurant - the Benefits are DOUBLE YOUR Pleasure munny making good.

The woman conducts YOGA Classes.

So Prospects AND Yoga Class members eat at their Restaurant.

AND Since the roof of the Restaurant is set up for AIRIAL YOGA. (Some kind of Stretching in a Hammock.)

Outsiders and Visitors to the Restaurant who ASK, “Why are their Hammocks hanging from the ceiling? May Sign up for Yoga.

So we got a Double Referral — 2 Ways Customer Referral Thing going on here.

C - The Man does some kind of Consulting.

I - So he meets Prospects at the Restaurant.
II - He uses the Restaurant as an office.
III - He does presentations and Group meetings there.

Also - Bottom line - both partners benefit from NOT having to Lease or rent office space.

And since any Restaurant is basically a Real Estate Play. The partners are building up equity in the above-ground building - while their real estate grows in Value.

Thanks,
Glenn

Glenn,

If I'm reading you correctly, it seems the term ""restaurant" might be "loosely hung" here.
Perhaps, just enough to recognize it as such, for tax purposes.

Of course the type of meals, when they are served/how often and to whom...well, that is
left to the discretion of the owners, isn't it?

Re: Weird $100,000 Client --Aura Handshake--Referral System [Reposted from archive]

I must have missed the NLP in this last post. 2 people open a restaurant. One is a consultant while the other is a YOGA instructor. Each has a built in audience so this audience patronizes the restaurant. I don't see anything spectacularly distinguishing about the setup.

Unless, these 2 are not involved in the daily routine of the restaurant and all they do is bring in diners then I can see how their subliminal referrals work. But, and this is a big but, if one or both of these people are actively involved in the restaurant's daily routine, I don't see them bringing a significant amount of referrals to the table so to speak.

I understand how this system has the potential to increase business but I don't have enough info on each one's involvement in the restaurant. Like I said, I missed it.

Hi Tom,

I don't think everything Glenn writes about is about NLP. These are case studies on referral systems.

I've had the pleasure of talking with Glenn - and I know that what Glenn both applies and teaches is well beyond NLP (though in some cases it may incorporate it). Let's say Glenn has a very powerful set of "tools" in his business "toolbox" - and NLP is only one of the tools...

I could be wrong, but I see it like this...

I have a friend who used to screen (older) films on some Monday nights in a local bar (or a pub, as they call them here).

It was a win/win referral system...

- My friend advertised his film nights to his email list. People came to the bar to watch the films. They ordered drinks and also meals (since the bar sold meals too), so the bar made money. Monday was usually a slow night, so they made more money that night than would have otherwise.

- My friend also got occasional free publicity for his film nights (e.g. he'd get interviewed on public radio, the occasional article about him in the newspaper, sometimes the movie would get listed in the newspaper movie listings regarding "what's on," etc.), which also brought more people to the bar to see the movies.

- The bar paid my friend for screening the films, so my friend made money too, plus they gave him a free meal. The bar also advertised the film night to its customers (via posters around the bar, mainly), so my friend would get more people coming to see his films.

- People who watched the films would also pay a nominal "membership fee" to see the films (these fees basically covered the costs of hiring the films). All new members were also added to the email list.

(By the way, screening movies for the public is a tricky business regarding rights, so you have to check that out - and find legal ways to cope with it - if you want to do something like this. In this case, in Australia, it is legal to screen films to members if you are a film society - so this was set up as a film society, and people were charged a fee for membership. That membership fee got you a pass to see 3 months of film nights. He would generally show older "cult" movies - like "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (1951), "Devil Girl from Mars" (1954), "Rio Rita" (1942), "Casablanca" (1942), "Planet of the Vampires" (1965), and so on.)

It was win/win for all! And increased the profits for both the bar and for my friend.

He also got paid to do what he loved, which was screening movies for the public.

Best wishes,

Dien

P.S. Here's one of the articles (i.e. free publicity) which was written about him in a major newspaper. (In Australia, many "bars" are called "hotels" for historical reasons.)

Dien,

Thanks for the response. Your explanation makes sense and if that is what he meant then by golly it makes sense.

I don't know if your friend's idea would be successful here or not given the rights you correctly mentioned. I think it would too much of a hassle. But that's another story.

BTW, that incident in Sydney was shocking. My buddy Father Dave of Dulwich Hill told me about the actual on the ground experience. Since we see hostage taking often in this country our sensibilities weren't perturbed quite as much.

Regardless, appreciate the reply.
