All political rants will be deleted. If one chooses to have their good information left alone, we can just delete the rant...otherwise, the baby goes out with the bathwater.

Thank you Gordon and Dien for making this forum a Political Rant Free Zone.

I have left more than one forum that allowed itself to go off the rails from its core purpose by allowing foaming at the mouth political ranters to set up their soap boxes.

I agree, let's learn how to make money instead of arguing over who the mayor should be!

Millions will be made selling the tools to the politicians.
 

From yard signs to giant postcards and beyond, businesses will be cashing in on the Presidential election, the state and local elections.

So why not take their money for a change?

I had a button maker at one time, did a brisk business too although it was time consuming.

Any speech writers? We can discuss how to market to those seeking to serve, and today with super pacs and corporations being people too, let's figure out how to get a piece of that action.

I love the idea of taking their money (and their contributor's bux too).

How you going to cash in?

NOT the first time Don has stomped off. He knows he is welcome to post and tout his hot flashes whenever he wants,

I told him 10 years ago, he can always start his own forum.

He has been previously banned here, run out of every forum he posts on, including the Warrior Forum.

As a kid, I always took my own bats and balls up to the field, never fearing the sensitive bully who would storm off and take his balls home.

So now YOU all know.

Again, this is Don's choice, he was warned, asked not to rant, but he has made his choice clear.

Hi Gordon, I have something similar I am looking into,
selling personalized items on ebay. For example a leather
covered notebook might be maybe 7 bucks but you
add monogram and charge 12 or 15 bucks whatever
the market will bear. On the higher end jewelry could
be inscribed and sell for more. This is a huge field
since just about anything can be personalized.
With names, or monograms, or photos.
I started looking into this last week.

So, wait til the two are selected and work both sides of the isle...monograms for each, eh?

There is NO doubt about Don's contributions over the years...
 

One the best idea to action guys out there, has given us a lot of great workable money making ideas.

I have personally profited from his knowledge.

16 years ago I was edited and had posts deleted at a forum, the owner told me to start my own forum if I didn't like his rules and moderation.

So we did.

That forum, like so many, are now defunct ghost towns and even though we've had lulls and minimum activity, we've been active and responsive for 15 years.

Dien and I both have been deleted, and without question or argument with each other, when he has deleted my posts, I accept it.

We have always had the best interest of the forum in mind.

Our policy has been clearly stated for all of these 15 years.

NO one, not me, not Dien nor anyone else gets to violate those founding principles of the forum.

There are scores of sites to rant about politics, THIS is not one of them.

Don chose to opt out rather than respect our members and our rules.

It was HIS choice.

We'll continue on, maybe even become a better place to share ideas too. I've been through many hurricanes and blustery freight-train loud storms.

Call me Annie, but, "the sun will come out tomorrow"

And so it has, a clean, fresh day for us all who choose to participate here,

I just saw this! This is suppose to be a sad song...but in this context is hilarious!!

Didn't the Seekers also have another hit called: Another You? That would be good too!!

Hey, Don did have many great ideas and workable gems. Too bad the forums seem to aggravate him so much, especially with simple questions from people who were only looking for good follow-up advice.

Sorry to see him go. Wish him well!

He's gone. Wish him well privately there is no further need to discuss him, the ideas, certainly welcome for discussion, questions on these specific to Don, ask him.
