Car Magnet Advertising

I would like to start this business of renting out my doors on my car to local business. I already have a good source to buy the car magnets. Anyone on the forum have any good ideas?

Thanks,
Don Gray

Hi Don,

I posted about the following business idea awhile back. Of course since they've started, other similar concepts have popped up in many Cities and Towns...

Huge opportunity and Lotsa Creative ways to make this into a Bigger and Better idea...

Since, some still complain of the Monies payed out vs. the amount of Driving required...

Seriously think about this concept and Grow yourself a nice little Advertising niche...

Hi Don,

Instead of placing magnets on car doors, you might want to look at placing placards on top of your car. More people will read ads on those - and I think you can charge more for those ads too...

And no magnets required - so should get your costs down too - after the setup.

Not sure if a magnet is the way to go.
All the rage around here is vehicle wraps.
Many companies have their vehicles totally covered with sheets of vinyl with designs that are only limited your imagination. Even windows can be completely covered with the stuff.

Google "vehicle wraps" and see the possibilities.
Then look for a local vinyl sign shop that does this and talk to them.
You could work out a great deal with them, maybe even a free wrap with a free ad for their services as part of the total design.

Another way to go is a bilboard hauler.
Has a cab and a flatbed with a verticle bilboard that displays the ads.
They usually go up and down the streets during events that draw large numbers of people.

Like Ankesh suggests, you could charge more for these as well.

Don't forget about the back windshield. Here's an example...

Great low cost advertising idea for
anyone who owns a business or has
a website to drive traffic to.

Cheers,
