Credit card processing...

Hi gang,

One more quick question for you...

I have 3 merchant accounts, but they are all being a pain about increasing my limit. Anyone know of either:

1. A traditional merchant account that will allow processing of $100,000+ per month? - OR -

2. A *reliable* 3rd party system that doesn't kill you with its fees and percentages? I've heard from some that 2checkout.com is pretty good. Any comments or experiences? They take 5.5% + 45 cents, and while that's not as good as traditional merchant accounts, it's better than Clickback and others. If not 2checkout, any other recommendations?

Thanks again for your valuable feedback!

All the best,

Jesse

Thanks again, Michael. I've had a couple of people recommend paysystems.com now. I know quite a few more who have not been happy with them...but perhaps they've gotten things together.

I appreciate your help.

You are right that Clickbank does charge more per transaction ($1 + 7.5%) but their customer service is excellent. I have been with them for years now and wouldn't use anyone else. Checks are always on time and the staff there are friendly, knowledgable, and respond promptly to any issues.

Even with their slightly higher than standard processing fees I believe they are the best third party option for online merchants. Customer service counts for a lot in my opinion and the other third party processors seem extremely lacking in this regard.

The biggest complaints that Merchants have with a processor are: Customer Services, assistance with chargeback issues, and account reviews that help the merchant not close them down.

Finding one that meets all three can be very lucartive for you.

I do believe I can help you and others that need this.

If you ever have any questions about Payment Processing issues just post a question here and I will assist the best I can.

Take Care.
