I'm confused about this book...

http://www.amazon.com/Doing-The-Impo.../dp/1937624692

It looks like a great book!

What confuses me is, I see it has an "average" customer review of 5 stars.
Doesn't that mean ALL 25 reviews are 5 stars?

But somehow it does NOT mean that.

Are there no 1/2 stars, and/or does Amazon round upwards?

If I have a 4.0 GPA, doesn't that mean I have never received anything less than a 4.0?

Just wondering.

Hi TW,

If you scroll down the Amazon page to "Customer Reviews" - it gives a "break down" of the reviews...

Under "Customer Reviews" - it says "4.8 out of 5 stars"

Then you get the break down...

22 reviews give it 5 stars
2 reviews give it 4 stars
1 review gives it 1 star

Note that the words "5 star", "4 star", and "1 star" are clickable. Clicking on one of those words gives you just the 5 star, 4 star, or 1 star reviews.

I don't know anything about that particular book, so I have no idea if it is good or not...

Hope that helps!

Best wishes,

Dien

Yes, I see that. But when you look at the main amazon page of that book it says the average customer rating is 5 (full) stars (25 reviews).
How can that be if there is any review that is less than 5 stars (the max)?

Tim, aren't you confused about many things?

You amaze me Tim. Being all confused and unfocused and everything. You are one of the top posters here at SowPub the last few years...

And the vast majority of your posts are head scratching bewilderment at the way the world works.

NOW, as far as I know, you could be wildly successful and just like to screw around on line, but taking you at face value of your posts...

I get sad.

You are one of the most intelligent members we have, whom it appears has just not been able to focus in on doing the thing which is going to not only bring you money but satisfaction as well.

Arent' you currently involved in some sort of election thing? Selling something to people interested in politics?

For me, and this is ONLY me, it is hard to read your posts...because you have hundreds of them and almost all have the same theme...

the questioning of the real world and how it operates so stupidly...

just wish you'd take some time off of your wondering...and focus in and bring us a quality product you know you're capable of creating.

But, alas, I can only be bewildered about you Tim until such a time.

Good luck in getting the world to act the way it is "supposed" to.
