Please could you help on this HOTSHEET

Hello

I'm planning a HOTSHEET that will provide business opportunities (WANTED & AVAILABLE ads) monthly

(Similar to J F Jim Straw's Worldwide Business Exchange)

It will be subscriber-based, members-only.

Please do you have ideas on how to launch, especially as there are ZERO subscribers now?

How do I get the initial opportunities to list?

I'll appreciate any case studies on how perhaps J F Jim Straw STARTED his Worldwide Business Exchange.

Thank you

Hi,

As I recall, the WWBE business model was that people would pay a subscription, then advertising business opportunities, etc., in it was free...

However, Jim closed down the WWBE. I'm wondering, was it still a viable business in the face of the internet?

In 2010, I asked Jim (in an email) what happened to the WWBE, and was it still available? He replied with a short email that he suspended it 5 years ago (i.e. in 2005). He didn't explain to me why, however.

Regarding your question, how to get the initial opportunities... One way is to research opportunities, then put them in yourself. For example, find closeouts, liquidations, etc., and put them in yourself. Hopefully, over time, you'd have enough subscriber-generated content to make doing this unnecessary...

Best wishes,

Dien

Re: Thank you so much

Yes, I'm already doing some research on opportunities to list.

I think the WWBE model is still viable; after all I see it has a lot in common with the MEMBERSHIP business model

This is one reason why I LOVE SOWPub. You always help to crystallize my thoughts

Thank you Dien
