Simple word that reveals your inner mindset...
When you talk about (either out loud or in your mind) your annual income goal, do you say...
- I want to MAKE $[whatever amount] this year. or - I want to EARN $[whatever amount] this year. I think that little word difference reveals your mindset about being an entrepreneur! I think a true entrepreneur is more likely to say MAKE, not EARN. One is CREATING (out of thin air, limitless), the other is BEING PAID (compensation for specific WORK). Just an observation + theory. I think you're on to something there, TW. I asked my husband which he'd say and he said 'earn' I, on the other hand, chose 'make'. Yes, I am the more aggressive, entrepreneur in the family and he is the reluctant entrepreneur for the most part.
No person is cut and dried all this or all that, of course. It's more about tendencies and perceptions. Still, for us at least, it holds true. Sandi Bowman |

LOL
I think "earn" is before taxes, "make" is whatever is left after you help support the country. Regards, Steve MacLellan |

You also need to change "want" to "will."

Good point! -- Or, even better... "AM" (making)... Or just "I MAKE..." (affirmation)
