Ah, an avatar ago (I've had several at Warrior)...

I quickly ran through the thread you linked to, and wondered about all the answers and which ones held water 9 AND 6 YEARS LATER? It is one of those evergreen topics and had a long shelf life.

NINE years ago, a lifetime before Trump as POTUS. Before Covid. Before Tik-Tok and before Click Funnels...seems like light years ago.

6 years is a bit closer to us, but still, so many things have changed. Yet, I stand by the SELLING something idea.

The TRANSACTION is the thing.

Always has been, always will be...the ONE thing. In business for profit that is.

To make the dough, there has to be an exchange of agreed on value.

One would find my story hasn't changed in the last 30 years. Only the tools to expedite the exchange has evolved.

TODAY, right this very minute, I'm creating products to be seen next year, from the latest and greatest TECH... which can now be done in real time and then the transaction can continue of for decades.

But the basic idea, in that thread, was (is) to SELL SOMETHING. What the thing is only matters due to DEMAND in the market.

If one has a demand, then one can CREATE or ACQUIRE value to exchange and build a singular transaction which can be parlayed into a lifetime value which is phenomenal.

Glad to see I remain true to my foundation.

From simple, to complicated, and full circle to simple again.

60 years ago I knocked on doors offering fresh picked flowers for a nickel. As simple a transaction as is.

Then, and if you have read the book 7 STEPS TO FREEDOM II, which I last edited in 1998, you see very COMPLICATED selling process.

In the last few years the Gurus have made tons of money selling simple (or so they say) solutions to making a TRANSACTION.

Funnel this, funnel that and all that jazz. It certainly has been a great transactional model for THEM, maybe for a % of users too.

One can spend a lot of time on their web sites, their eCom sites, on the marketplaces, selling all kinds of things...

and it can get very complicated.

Which is why I am once again falling in love with AUTOMATIC PRODUCT VENDING sites, and why it was offered here for free last month.

APV's are simple.

I have this for sale, you want it? Put your money in, push the button and get the product.

Even better than me handing them flowers through the door.

I've done simple...

and I've done COMPLICATED and simple is easier, faster, and can be just as profitable as the time consuming set ups and hyped up products.

I ask people today, why they sell what they do? And many of them just sort of fell into it, and it is what they know.

But with all the new tech coming our way every year, and a myriad of ways to complicate the process, I have come full circle to the idea simple is better.

Why add complicated steps to the process?

Why oh why?

So, the BILLION dollar question is: how to find demand?

On your CHATTELING report you teach a way.

What worked for me,for my small successfully mail order business was this magic word:

TESTING.

Testing a lot of different products on different media.

And I am thinking on do again TESTING on your "10 ways how to make money without a business" .

Talking about APV, do you ever had any off-line physical vending machines?

Thanks.
