Needing Some Information If Possible Please...

Hello All -

Does anyone know or have any information on "The Odessa Fact Sheet" and "The American Horse Magazine" that was published by Diane Morgan - from Los Altos, CA ? I saw somewhere awhile back that this had moved to Oregon. Is this correct? I would like to continue to get these publications - if possible. Help !!!

Many years ago (in 2004), someone's posted the following here on this forum...

"I'm trying to find the odessa fact sheet catalog.I wold like to get a hold on to a new one.(really good stuff)
Is there anyone who could help me with this info.."

Unfortunately, as far as I could tell, he didn't get a reply though.

Maybe someone knows something???

(P.S. Sorry I haven't posted much lately lately, I've been ridiculously busy... Hope to post more in the next day or two...)

Hi Phil,

Thanks for sharing your research!

The bane of the busy is time can be a too-rare commodity...

I'm actually hiring out my hours nowadays. Not as an employee, and I'm not "working the streets" (in any way you might construe that)!

I'm doing some advisory and consulting work... very interesting stuff... :)

On some of these older, hard-to-get publications... There seems to be an opportunity here, too. If they're hard to get - perhaps they could be republished for a profit?

I have an old book I picked up somewhere, a long time ago, second-hand... It's compiled from an old newsletter. From the early 70s, I think... Very "hippyish" - I thought it was fascinating. Mostly hand-written and hand-drawn. Quite a memorial of the era, I think! (Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of it off-hand)...

But while republishing these works may not make you rich, they can certainly bring in much-welcome extra cash... :)

P.S. Just looked it up - the book I was thinking of is "Living on the Earth" by Alicia Bay Laurel. I have one of the original 1970s copies (bought second-hand), but I see she revised and republished it in 2003. I guess it wasn't compiled from newsletters as I had thought... I think I must have been confusing it with the "Whole Earth Catalog"... No, I'm not a hippy, but I find all kinds of "alternative" types of publications quite fascinating and stimulating...

Hey citadelservices, I was looking for the Odessa Factsheet by Diane Morgan also and I did find a website that looked awfully similar in their reports and pamphlets that can be purchased the same way the Odessa Fact Sheet was. the website is... Scoopified.net

The ODESSA FACTSHEET ran ads long ago, and was the publishing vehicle of Diane Morgan. She is the editor of SCOOPIFIED, which was delivered this week to my mail box. SCOOPIFIED picks up where Odessa left off, it is jam packed full of alternative meds, all kinds of conspiracy stuff, most of it is a "where to find it" and most of the offers are for this kind of info.

As I recall, the report was about the work of a Russian in the 19th century from Odessa, who had discovered secrets of long life...but I could be mistaken.

I think she's been around quite awhile, the old addy was Palo Alto, but Bellingham, WA has been the address for over a decade now. I could be wrong but I remember the Pub as one of those "fringe" things, along the lines of NEOTECH and Ralph Ginzburg (MONEYSWORTH). Old age being a disease was the theme and she sold solutions to that disease.

I've discussed SCOOPIFIED here, before.

Are you just looking for her, or for old copies of the report?

Gordon
