Making Money With Ribbons

Because there are many a creative people here on SOWPub, here is something you can get an idea from:

A woman is selling huge red bows:
http://www.kingsizebows.com/

"This year, she expects her Newport Beach, Calif.-business to sell about 15,000 to 20,000 bows, which sell for $48 each"
http://www.wtopnews.com/index.php?nid=111&sid=1005983

Something you could do in your own neighbourhood... and maybe joint venture with a car salesmen...

and a $400 biz op using the bows

I bet that they would sell you 10 bow for $400 (most likely less)

Now talk to a new/used auto dealer and rent them the bows for $25 each.

When they get a potential auto buyer that is purchasing the car as a gift, they can close the deal with the NEW personal service they offer.

Such as delivering the the vehicle the day of the the event to the destination of the customers choice along with your rented bow.

There are several ways to turn these bows into green in your wallet,
this is just a quick idea to get the mind working.

Best Wishes,
Jason

Re: Making Money With Ribbons

Why not just decorate shops windows?

I was downtown yesterday and very few stores are decorated. Usually no one in the company has taken the initiative or they are too busy.

Have a selection of christmas decorations and let them choose what they want and then they can put it up themselves or have you do it.

I was looking at auto dealers and about 3 had bows on their cars (lexus, jaguar). But even a big mercedes dealership had nothing at all on their entire lot.

I know the owner of a couple of Hallmark card shops who said they did a lot more business just because the decorated their stores and drew more traffic into it.

I should check the malls and see if the shops there are decorated.

Maybe Phil will spill his guts to the Old Man in the Old Van...and I'll create a video...however, me thinks he sort of likes his anonymitity..he may be like OLD friend Jim Straw who told me to make sure to let him know when I'll be in his area...

so he can get out of town.

Eh? Gordon...

Be Happy that you don't have to Learn that language on the other side of Candianese and Quebec. :)

One of the reasons I headed out to good ol' Alberta for many years...

But that "Wonderful" Pacific Coast kept on calling & saying more Vacations please!

Appreciate Bob's mention but Unfortunately I'm no Gordon Jay Alexander, Jim Straw...

Just a passionate Media watcher that tries to share a few interesting business ideas...

That you're right, usually keeps a low profile...

BUT I'm looking forward to The OLD Man in the OLD Van with his NEW Plan*

Including his New business and Life concept...

Just waiting for that Special web beta invite in my inbox along with your itinerary. ;)

Here's a Hot! Profitable business idea... Success Tip without having a seminar or video...

Buy just a little bit of Affordable Waterfront property in small places!

And other types of real estate in small Up & Coming Places...

Believe it or Not... More than we Think is Available in Many places Worldwide...

USD/CAD... Gladly accepted and Don't forget those International Hotsheets!

After all, how much Money do you really need to Enjoy Life?

Hi Gordon,

I hope one day you can make it "downunder"... Then, as long as you practice saying "g'day" a lot and call everyone "mate", you'll have "no worries"... ;)

If you do meet Phil, see if you can get him to reveal all his amazing researching secrets...!!! :)

By the way, I have only been to Canada a little bit (I spent a few days in Toronto once, and I went to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls - does that count?). Anyway, I enjoyed Toronto! And of course, Niagara Falls (both sides) was great! One of my brothers has been to Montreal and he enjoyed it. And I've been told that Vancouver is a city with a lot of "natural beauty"...

Cheers,

Fred
