27 through 32

            1. The OFF KEY SINGING TELEGRAM BUSINESSES
You may have read the story at SowPub, if not here is a link to it:
http://sowpub.com/story-singing.shtml Yea, I was at the University of Akron, taking classes to get my Real Estate license with the designate, GRI. Graduate of Realtor Institute. I did get it, and my license and spent a miserable couple of years in Real Estate.

Then I started my singing telegram business and 90 days later I was making more than my broker, he wasn't amused. Listen, I'll be the first to admit, TIMING played a huge role in my success. Here is what happened.

My Navy buddies were Entrepreneurial and scattered around the U.S. One, in San Francisco alerted me to a hot new business getting a lot of press, The Western Onion Singing Telegram Business. At one time, Western Union delivered them, but they quit and for many years.
Anyhow, I told my wife I wanted to start one, and she and my best buddy laughed because I sang so off key. AND a biz was born.

Today, you have all kinds of SPECIALIZED DELIVERY SERVICES, balloons, telegrams, candy grams. Here, take a look:

Here is a singing gorilla with balloons. Which brings up:
            1. Balloons Meet Charles Prosper
              https://youtu.be/2jLuy1Najlo
Melvin Powers introduced me to Charles Prosper, the Balloon Baron around 1998 or so, he has helped scores of people become successful in their balloon businesses. 28 is stuffing balloons with gifts. http://www.giab.com/ Check eBay for good deals and YouTube too. 29 is balloon decorations http://start-a-new-business.timetore...-start-up-kit/

30 is Balloon animals https://www.balloonhq.com/faq/twister_business.html

A few years ago, one of our SowPub members wrote a report on selling helium balloons to bakeries, along with cakes. I came up with the idea of adding a Pizza Card onto the balloon as an added gift. The card was a BOGO or buy large, get small birthday pizza free.

Which brings up an evergreen niche, BIRTHDAYS. And 7 ways to cash in.

31 Birthday parties FOR kids. We've had several magicians at SowPub over the years and almost all of them did parties for kids at one time or another. Clowns (which I hate), Characters, magicians, sing along entertainers all serve this never ending niche. Here are some ideas to consider:

BONUS: Doing research led me to this page o Google images. I link to it because it has a lot of IDEAS, just look over the images and let your mind run wild. Almost everything you see can be a fly low cash cow for the right person, for you? I don't know, but some very entertaining ideas here.

Look for this book at Amazon, then see all the related books and see what else customers bought. A huge market for the kids. But don't forget us adults. 32 We like our special days too.

Well, how you doing?

Got some ideas? See, there is a big world out there of opportunity, you could get lost, scattered or just overwhelmed. The very best thing for you, is what is for you. IF you take some time and carefully analyze these opportunities within the framework of YOU,
your skills. Personality, attitude, aptitude, desires...then making money isn't only easy, it is FUN too. Do you know what you want? What is best for you? ONWARD.

THIRTY FOUR Ace of Clubs Resumes Plus Job Searching and
Employment. My other thousand dollar a day business was with Resumes and finding people jobs.

OF course, it didn't hurt me any that I was coming off of 3 years as a job developer for a county agency either. I knew a lot of businesses.

So I was able to quickly locate ideal jobs and charge accordingly. Within this industry there are several niche opportunities, we'll let 34 be the basic RESUME business, and all kinds of ways to start these. I'll give you some resources, but if really interested, I suggest you talk to me first, and for a small affordable fee, I'll help you research YOUR job market and design a plan for you to get maximum business.

Now, I have experience, but you don't need me, here are some other (and a few MORE expensive) places to get information on the Resume business. OK?

Should get you started, but my opinion is, I doubt any of these made a $1,000.00 a day either. See, writing resumes is no big deal, not a difficult thing to do, but getting CUSTOMERS. Well, that is my expertise. And now this:

The 52 scattered cards here represent a lot of work. For every idea you see and the links, there has been a lot of research and time spent. Both mine, and from other people like Dien Rice.

I subscribed to all kinds of newsletters from long ago, from George Haylings to Jim Straw, online from Ron Ruiz, Don Alm, Chase Revel back in the day with his Insider Reports. BUT, the one thing that makes me somewhat different is

I am a reporter with hands on, in the trenches, on the battle filed tested and proven EXPERIENCE.

Now, I haven't done all of these, but I've done many or have been involved with some people directly doing these things. I worked with Paul Burdick, a local magician and shopkeeper who had two SPELLBINDER shops, and I gained first hand experience with comics, cards, games, costumes, magic, all from just this experience and from this the MASCOT biz too (more later).

Anyhow, I just wanted you to know, I KNOW. Not because I read a report or a book, but because I have done, discovered or went to the source. And maybe the next source might be YOU.

Chances are you have some expertise to share. Let me help you extract your experiences and put them into cash flow.

Your experiences are STORED VALUE, and I'm very good at getting your stored value out of storage and into circulation, where the dollars flow and good times roll. Just want to make sure you understand when you speak to me, you have some idea of where I got the wisdom and knowledge to share with you, OK?
35 Video practice of interviewing skills. If you can help people with their interviewing skills, it is a great add on to a Resume Service, it is the PLUS in my former business. Here are some resources, from Forbes; http://www.forbes.com/pictures/hifk4.../#4a7d74a6196e

http://www.experisjobs.us/exp_us/en/...Interviews.htm

36 Biz Op options. A part of my resume business was doing some testing, aptitude and life testing and of course, asking the question, What do you want? Many people couldn't tell me what their IDEAL job was, so they just wanted some work. But there were a large percentage who wanted to start a side line, part time, from home little business and this is where my knowledge of Biz ops comes in.

THIRTY SEVEN Yoga Studio. GOT Any empty store fronts in your area, I bet you do. Got a yoga studio? Probably do. But one more won't hurt. Yoga instructors are pretty easy to find these days. Charles Barkley, former NBA star, calls it stretching, but there are many types of yoga. I started studying yoga in 1965, mainly via way of Frank Rudolph Young, who I came across his work while studying with Fran Renner, hypno therapist.

I'm not very good at yoga, wish I would have spent more time with it, but keeping your body healthy should be a top priority.

BONUS SIDEBAR.
How to get rich with an idea: FRANCHISE AND LICENSING.

Judi Sheppard Missett JAZZERCISE. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jazzercise

Billy Blanks TAEBO. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tae_Bo

Jean Nidetch WEIGHT WATCHERS https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Nidetch

Jack LaLanne, Richard Simmons, Jane Fonda, Paige Palmer, Paul Bragg, Joe Weider
Charles Atlas, Joe Bonomo, GET THE POINT?

Fitness, health, exercise is an ongoing evolution. Dance, music, movement and tiny shorts made Richard Simmons a rich man. In the next few years, a NEW concept will enter the market, some lady, some guy, somewhere is going to start in a small church basement, at the local YMCA-YWCA, community rec center and create the next big thing. You might have this person in your neck of the woods.

Consider this, I just gave you a list of some millionaires, who seemed to follow a similar TEMPLATE to their success. A study of their marketing more or less gives you a PLAN to follow if you have a business, and want to expand it.

Thanks Gordon for sharing these awesome ideas...!

Balloon animals can still be a source of good income!

As well as kids parties, nowadays, a balloon animal specialist can be in demand for adult functions as well!
