For Dien (and others who know the secret word)

The word.

Is one side of the sword. Certainty is the other.

Put the yin and yang together.

Presto, persuasion magic.

GJA

OH, the word is not uncertainty either. But that is a facet of it.

Hi Gordon,

Mel Martin knew about it, and uses it (in a kind of subtle way, I think)...

Here's an ad of his where he uses it...

Mel Martin's ads were great... :)

Mel Martin was great.

.I loved his ads. I think he falls through the cracks of many a would be copywriter seeking a source of successful ads.

I bet that cookbook ad, almost as it is, could be sold today via a youtube channel.

Do You Make these Mistakes when cooking sushi?

HA!

Re: Mel Martin was great.

Hi Gordon,

I've known about Mel Martin for a long time (there's a chapter devoted to him in Denny Hatch's book, "Method Marketing")...

However, I feel that only now am I really beginning to appreciate his copywriting genius...! (I feel Denny Hatch didn't quite catch what we've managed to catch...)

Mel Martin was virtually unknown in his lifetime... In the end, he wrote exclusively for Boardroom Inc., who bought all of his time, and Marty Edelston (who owned Boardroom) wanted to keep Mel Martin's name a secret, so nobody else would grab him...

Best wishes,

Dien
