Tomorrow's Headlines: POACHING, armed robbery and burglary SWEEPS across USA...

The riots will be in Early Aug. Probably start in LA. We'll see.

Maurading gangs take to the streets this summer as I forecast over a year ago.

POACHING will become headline news. Not just fish and game, but other resources like WOOD and electricity.

But I'll start with the fish and game. Poaching already exists, but most hunters and fisherman obey the rules and limit their take to the "limit". The poachers don't care about limits, and they will find ever increasing markets for the fish and wildlife they harvest illegally.

Farms will come under attack by poachers too. Watch for stories about missing cows, sheep and maybe even some missing chickens too.

Orchards, vineyards and dirt farms will be infestated with poachers who will hold "midnight" harvests and will be gone by morning...it will be known as "Swarming".

Fish will begin to be harder to catch, and it will be a smaller fish too. Instead of sport fishing, there will be NET fishing that will take out tons of fish, again by poachers who have no respect for either law or nature. It is all about making a buck.

Along with Poaching being in the headlines, there will be a dramatic increase in ARMED robbery, and many tourists attractions will find the pickpockets and con artists are out in force. The gun will become the ATM card for untold hoardes of thugs.

Burglary, often BRAZEN, and more smash and grab type will also be discussed on the TV news, if there are any Newspapers left standing by Sept, they will have a radical difference, resembling AD rags and tabloids.

These are trends that have been coming, the economy has only quickened the way things are going to be.

If you have a lot of wood for your fireplace, you might want to keep a close eye on it. And if you have harvests of anykind, now is the time to be super vigilant.

2009. Headline News. It ain't gonna be pretty.

Hi Gordon,

As the weather begins to warm across the USA...I believe more and more people will be searching for ways to grow food. Such as container gardens.

Also, used clothing...yard sales will be in full swing.

More and more people will opt to eat rather than buy prescription medicines. And, gun sales will soar.

Not to mention the rise in Copper, Electricity, and Television Services thefts.

As more and more people are forced to leave their homes and join those currently living in tent cities, local crime rates will climb. And, a way of life that has been enjoyed by millions in the USA will be gone forever.

As you say...We'll see.

My Best 2 U,

LindaC

Gordon, do you read George Ure over at www.urbansurvival.com ?
He has been talking for sometime of the "Summer of Hell". Food riots, diaspora...
It's certainly an interesting alternative to the MSM

TENTS at Walmart flying off the shelf.

By summer, we'll have over 100,000 people living in TENTS in the state capitals...maybe more than that.

Tents and all things camping are selling like hotcakes. But it appears to be people investing in their next HOME, not their next adventure.

Larry, I do read Ure, not keen on "economists", but I stay up on all the survivalist and nut jobs like myself out there.

Linda, imagine a tent city with half a million people in it. It ain't gonna be Woodstock revisted.

Hey, if you have a local campground, why not spend a few weekends getting away and shutting down the house for a few days? I like camping and it is a very low cost weekend getaway (and now, many camps have WiFi so you can stay connected too).

Pitch a tent this year for FUN and FAMILY togetherness time AND not because it beats the shelter or a card board box. Too bad many will find themselves refugees in their own land.

Gordon

PS. 667 people stood in line for a 15.37 an hour job as a janitor in a junior high school. This took place near Canton, OH where HOOVER and others have left town...now your HOOVER is made in China...that Sucks...but wait, there's no such thing as "outsourcing"...we've always done it. OK then.

The man is worthy of his hire - but nobody will pay for the goods made by him - they prefer cheap imports. ..... even if that's at the expense of quality and reliability.

.... it does seem surreal to think of people having to live in tents when there are empty houses repossessed by bankers. There must be a better way to organise this. If rent to buy was available (even as a means of owning part of the equity in a home) would that not be much more sensible.

Umm, tent cities prediction may be premature (or inaccurate)...

Here's a quote from today's news re: that tent city in CA...

"A closer examination of the site, including interviews with camp residents and police officers who patrol the area, turned up little if any evidence that true 'recession refugees' were living among the chronically homeless there."

Here's the article...

Maybe we are not entering financial armegedon after all. Time will tell.
