Bread Recipe by Suarez

Hello,

Does anyone know any contact information to get the Bread Recipe by SCI? Ben Suarez says in his book - 7 STEPS TO FREEDOM 11- that he was selling the No Hunger Bread Recipe by his wife.

I'll appreciate any information about this.

Thanks in advance.

Jeagnalee, here's the secret recipe :-)

[/b]

Hello,

The Hunzas are considered to be the healthiest people on earth.
Their bread is the main part of their diet. This bread is reportedly
quite delicious. Everybody seems to love it. But then a startling
discovery was made. Just one or two slices of this bread would
suppress a person's appetite for 4 to 6 hours.

Here are a couple of Hunza Bread Recipes.

Enjoy!

God Bless.

HUNZA DIET BREAD RECIPE
Hunza Diet Bread is a delicious, dense, chewy bread that's very
nutritious and is almost impervious to spoilage. The following recipe
makes a huge batch of approximately 60 (sixty) x 2 inch squares, high
in protein, vitamins and minerals.

Keeps weeks at room temperature, even longer in the fridge and
indefinitely in the freezer.

The recipe for this wonderful bread is as follows: -

Recipe One

* 4 cups of water
* 3.5 (three & one half) to 4 pounds of natural buckwheat or millet
flour
* 1.5 (one & one half) cups of canola oil
* 1.5 (one & one half) cups of natural unrefined sugar
* 16 ounces of honey
* 16 ounces of molasses
* 4 ounces of powdered soya milk (half cup)
* 1 teaspoon sea salt
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
* 2 teaspoons baking powder (non aluminium)

Hunza Diet Bread has a taste that is very satisfying and chewy all on
its own, but you may also add if required, apricots, raisins, chopped
walnuts, almonds, sliced dates to the above ingredients. Mix
ingredients. Grease and lightly flour cooking pan(s). Ideally use
baking trays with about 1 inch high sides. Pour batter in pan(s) half
an inch thick over the base. Bake at about 300 degrees farenheit (150
C.) for 1 hour. After cooking, dry the bread in the oven for two (2)
hours at a very low heat - 90 degrees farenheit (50 C). After it is
cooled tip out and cut into approx 2 inch x 2 inch squares. Store it
wrapped in cloth in a container.
You may need to repeat the baking depending on the size of your baking
pan, and oven, until all the mixture has been used.
Hunza Diet Bread is made from natural buckwheat or millet flour. It is
rich in phosphorous, potassium, iron, calcium, manganese and other
minerals, as nothing has been destroyed in the preparation from the
wheat. Thus it contains the essential nourishment of the grain. This is
why you must ONLY use natural buckwheat or millet flour to make your
own Hunza Diet Bread..... Good luck and good health .. bon appetite :-)

Suggestions to lose weight with HUNZA DIET BREAD There are many ways to

do it. This is another benefit. It's flexible. Here are some typical
plans. Each piece of bread is thinly spread with butter for a total of
approximately 100 calories.
Plan A: Eat 1 piece every 5 hours of the 16 hours you're awake. That's
3 pieces which total 300 calories. This is the fastest way to lose
weight I know of. It works faster than any high protein diet. Why? You
have more energy and burn more calories. Second, the high fiber bread
keeps your digestive system regular. Third, your body stays healthy. A
healthy body means a properly functioning metabolic system.
Plan B: Really gorge yourself with the bread. Two pieces every four
hours for a total of 8 pieces but only 800 calories. You'll feel full
all day. In fact, I doubt many people could eat this much of the bread.

Plan C: Eat a piece in the morning for breakfast and a piece 3 hours
before your dinner and you will eat a great deal less.
Plan D: Eat a piece of HUNZA DIET BREAD, 10 minutes before you eat your

regular meal. When we do this we eat only a fraction, such as 1/4 of
what we would normally eat. If we wait longer than 10 minutes we don't
want to eat at all.
Plan E: Eat the bread at the end of meals that don't fill you up
enough, such as low calorie meals. This is a perfect way to use the
bread. You eat a low calorie meal, enjoy it, then eat a piece or two of

bread to fill you up. Perfect! No suffering and no urge to snack.
Plan F: Alternate Plan A, B, C, D. We recommend an alternation of the
plans, but some people who just want to get the weight off as soon as
possible will use Plan A exclusively.

Recipe Two

1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup golden raisins
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)

Directions

1 Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select the Dough/Manual setting and Start.
2 After the first rise, remove the bread from the bread machine. Shape into two loaves, and place into lightly greased 7x3 inch loaf pans. Allow the dough to rise until doubled in volume, but not more than an inch above the top of the pan.
3 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 to 40 minutes.

God Bless.

Something funny about that recipe...

> The Hunzas are considered to be the

By WHO?

For that matter... Who are the Hunzas?

HUNZA DIET BREAD RECIPE

The Hunzas had canola oil?

> * 1.5 (one & one half) cups of natural
> unrefined sugar

Isn't that called Cane Sugar juice? That's the only natural sugar that's unrefined, isn't it?. Of course, it could depend on your definition of "refined."

> * 16 ounces of honey
> * 16 ounces of molasses

Is that weight ounces or liquid ounces?

> * 4 ounces of powdered soya milk (half cup)

The Hunzas had powdered soya milk? What purpose does this powdered soya milk serve in the recipe? What more healthy alternative is there. Is this where the protien is supposed to come from? I'd rather use eggs.

> * 1 teaspoon sea salt
> * 1 teaspoon cinnamon
> * 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
> * 2 teaspoons baking powder (non aluminium)

The reason it makes you feel full is because of the oil content.

Otherwise... it is an interesting recipe.

On a side note... there has been this ad running recently. It is selling jube-like sweets (snakes, bears and turtles I think they are). It is being touted as all natural, nothing artificial and 99% fat free.

I walked over to the fruit bowl, grabbed an orange and thought... all natural, not artificial and 100% fat free. More nutritious too.

I also thought... a bag of sugar could be claimed to be "natural" and fat free. Yet no-one in their right mind would think eating a whole bag of sugar is good for you.

It's sad that food sellers are allowed to call something "natural" and "contains nothing artificial" when it is loaded with refined sugar.

Found ANOTHER recipe and a variation on the other one...

There are three (3!) Hunza bread recipes on this site as well as some commentary on the bread and WHO the Hunzas are: http://www.philkaplan.com/thefitnesstruth/update_11_3_01.htm

And this site has the recipe I questioned with alternatives to canola oil and soy milk powder: http://www.naturodoc.com/library/nutrition/hunzabread.htm

I assume the whey recommended is proper high-protien no carb whey... not the "whey" most commonly available.

Who are the Hunzas (of Hunza Bread fame)?

This is a pretty interesting thread - thanks to all. :)

I did a little web-sleuthing, and found this....

"Hunza is a kingdom in the Gilgit area of Pakistan on one side of a valley. The other side is Nagir. The Hunzukuts and the Nagirkuts both speak Burushaski, a language with no known relatives. Hunzukuts are renowned for their longevity, health, and diet. The king of Hunza is called the Mir."

(From http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunza )

Apparently the Hunza Valley where they live is part of the Himalayas - so they live at a very high elevation.

I've read that long lives seems to be one of their characteristics, with it not being uncommon for many "Hunzukuts" to live past 100 and still be healthy and active members of society.

A couple of other nationalities/ethnicities which are long-lived are the Georgians, from the Republic of Georgia, and the Abkhazians, which is also part of Georgia though seeking independence. They also tend to live healthy and active lives past 100 years old. They are also "mountain people" - living at the high elevations of the Caucasus mountains. I wonder if this is a connection? Walking up and down those mountains must keep you fit!

UGH! Audio!

Okay, this is a little off the topic of the bread recipe, but I couldn't help myself. I noticed (well, couldn't help noticing) that the post contained audio. I know there has been a lot of talk about adding audio to a website and the poster was considerate enough to add controls so I could shut it off but I think it was out of place.

If, you feel the need to include audio, please - set it so that the visitor must hit the play button to hear it. It is extremely irrating to be blasted by sound when not expecting it (especially of you are listening to something else and the audio replaces it). I don't like someone else making the choice of what i listen to.

Thanks,

Tam

Is that what it was... audio? I didn't know because

I have my browser set to Ask Permission before launching anything that requires Active X plug ins. The post asked me - never been asked about something from a post before - and I clicked NO.

No Audio.

No Shockwave/Flash.

No Automatic PDF.

No Quicktime.

And if, after clicking NO, nothing displays, I go on my merry way - thinking, "here's another webdesigner who is isolating people from their website for the sake of useless tricks that don't really add anything."

We don't all have cable modems or whatever the new fang-dangled thing is these days.

The net is an interactive medium. People LIKE and WANT to control their experience. And the best way to allow that is by using links which give choice... binary matrix even, right Gordon?

And...

I seem to have gone off again. (Now if only there was a way to stop applets from loading.)

Hi Brent,

It's nice to see (hear) you swoop in every once in a while :)

Just wanted to tell you that I really like your audio clip method.

But I understand Tam's feelings too, especially if you've got the sound presets up real loud from the last time you were listening to music!

I personally love the audio. Some won't. But for those that do, well, it's great to have a sensory experience other than this flat screen while surfing the web sometimes.

They say we subvocalize what we read, so each of you has your own little voice of sorts in my head when I read your posts, but Brent's is probably the only one that's accurate.

Success,

Erik Lukas

Thank you very much, Brent.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your post. And others who have added their knowledge on this topic.
I will check the materials that offered.

I also wonder wether I can have the Nancy's Special Formula Recipe in the format as Mr.Suarez reportedly sold it. Is your description coming from his recipe as it was?

I also wonder whether Gordon can add some information on the topic because he has been with Suarez. Are you with us Gordon?

P.S. : It is a great treat for me that you personnally prepared an audio answer. Thanks a lot.
And I love your video solutions. I'll look into that after I finished with the bread thing.

P.P.S. : Sorry for late answer. Sometimes I have difficulties working on this site. Perhaps we have very thin link between Asia and Down Under internetwise.

Actually, Sowpub.com is hosted in the USA - I use an American web host.
