Groupon style offers B 2 B only? Where?
 
Locally, regionally, nationwide. Anyone know groupon style companies that specialize in B 2 B (only) coupons?

If I understand your Question correctly...

Unfortunately, it Looks like they Didn't do their Homework well, No long term planning and various other problems I'm assuming...

A Good ol' Go Daddy parking page tells me So...

But the Overall business model is Up for, STUDYING, LEARNING and GRABS! ...

NEXT... ;)

But you GOTTA be able to Hang-on And Do it Like The Big Boys of Some Sorts!

So they went out of business almost as soon as they went into business? 1-1/2 years! Wow.

There was no reason for groupon or for a business to use them!
Here is the breakdown:
Sell a service for 50% of normal cost
Pay groupon half of what you receive
Train the groupon customers they can get 1/2 price on what you normally sell for full price
Make your full paying customers wait until you take care of the 1/2 paying customer
Spend a good portion of your time (sometimes over 90% of your time) taking care of these customers that cost you 75% your normal rate.
lather, rinse, repeat - probably not more than once!

Hi Charlie,

You make a good point! The Groupon model, I think, is pretty flawed...

I wonder if it's "fixable" - so that it really is "win/win" for everyone. (As it is, right now, I think most businesses who use Groupon end up getting "screwed"... That's why they don't come back. So Groupon has to find more and more suckers - I mean businesses - as customers...)

If this problem could be fixed... hmm...

(Just thinking out loud!)

well, it sounded good at the start and my wife and I actually purchased some coupons but once I started trying to market my own version I soon realized that businesses really got screwed. Looks like groupon has added Groupon Now which it sounds like uses your location to send you deals to take advantage of immediately. Sounds even more flawed as the restauraters have finally determined that groupon is a money looser for them.
Oh, and I was wrong about how much groupon gets - it is 30%, not 25%.
