Has anyone made Facebook pay?

Has anyone gotten some serious conversions
from Facebook?

It seems the people there only "Like" things
but are too distracted to actually leave
Facebook to go to the main offer.

Who has mastered Facebook? Can you please
share a few tips/lessons learned?

Thank you

Hi unpinkpanther,

I'm still learning...

But one interesting thing (often overlooked) is you can have email opt-ins with Facebook!

Here's an example of a Facebook page that does this...

https://www.facebook.com/Graphic45/app/100265896690345/

Why is this important? Because when you have someone's email (and permission to email them), then the marketing is 100% in your control...

Also - on FB marketing - see this post...

Best wishes, :)

A guy named Ryan Hightower uses Facebook to get lots of leads for real estate. Using mostly free methods. An old-school People First approach.

He outlines his approach in this video:

Buddy runs auctions on Facebook

A friend of mine and his wife have been running auctions on FB groups they created for about 3 years now. He doesn't limit himself to just FB. He runs auctions on eBay, sells on Kijiji, and other places. They make a good living at it.

I haven't asked him what he makes specifically on FB, but with so many other places to run auctions, if he didn't feel it was worthwhile, he wouldn't be doing it.

Regards,
Steve

Thanks for this tip, just wondering...

Thanks Steve

Just wondering: does your friend use OPEN FB groups or CLOSED ones?

I think the open groups broadcast your every activity to the world "Hi kids! unpinkpanther has just posted in that group again!"

Not very "Fly Low"

But then again, the open groups generally have a broader membership base (albeit with more spammers)

However this is business. If I find out that open FB groups generate more business, man, I'll do it!

That's why I ask again: does your friend use OPEN FB groups or CLOSED ones (or BOTH?)

Thank you

Re: Has anyone made Facebook pay?

I'm a member of an open FB group that has about 26,000 members. The owner of the group has a closed group of about 600 that are paid members, I think it is about 200.00 a year to belong to the closed group. The owner does a lot of things for the paid group, more than for the free group and there is still a lot of member contributions in the paid group.
Not a bad way to make a few dollars!

Mack
