Great Deals From Borders

Greetings Group,

I'm sure most of us here have heard about Borders and Waldenbook stores are going out of business.

Well I've spent the past 4-5 hours downloading a ton of free ebooks from Borders.

If there is a topic you are interested in I'd hurry on over and check out what Borders is getting rid of.

If you are a student of marketing, advertising and selling there is a treasure drove of books. Most date around the early 1900's but they are loaded with tons of information.

Also most books are quite lengthy. On average 300-400 pages. I actually downloaded on book on advertising that was 1200+ pages and covers a span of 2 selling years from 1926-1927.

The best part is that the books can be downloaded in pdf format

Peace and Success to you

Where exactly did you find the free books? I've been looking all over the website and I haven't seen one free ebook.

Re: Great Deals From Borders

Just got back from Borders book store. To many books, not enough disposable cash...That's why I took my bank card. ;)

Borders here in Tallahassee closes it's doors in 3 weeks. I'll be back and forth until the day they close.

Just be prepared for crowds of people and long lines at the check out.

Peace and Success to you

Thank you for your help.

Also if you intend to buy all those books make sure you also put them to good use.

19 Out of 25 Items Increased In Price During the Borders Liquidation Sale

Just be sure to do your price comparisons before you buy...

http://dealnews.com/features/19-Out-...le/483863.html

"Last week, we adamantly advised against shopping the Borders liquidation sales, and this week we have proof that the store-closing discounts are woefully underwhelming.

Before liquidation began, we visited the Borders store in the Time Warner Center in New York and noted the price of several books and select movies. Then, we returned on Saturday to note the post-"everything must go" prices — and discovered that 19 out of 25 items were cheaper last week, while five were merely consistent. And, not surprisingly, almost none were actually price lows once we compared online."
