It's an educational and inspirational story... Okay, $30,000 is not going to make you a millionaire. But this guy did it as a teenager... and in his spare time, too. Still a good story and worth reading... :)

This is an amazing story and something that makes you feel inspired to come up with your own idea. Honestly, he saw an opening and decided to go for it. So many people are actively holding back their own creativity because they are afraid to make that leap and he did it – kudos to him.

First Test of $50 - $80 Per Hr Sign Cleaning Hobby
 

Hi,

In an interview with a Golfer. (A Hobby of mine is Showing Golfers How to Drop 8
or 10 strokes off their game.)

He told me how come he can afford to play golf every day.
He went from 18 down to a 5 Handicap.

Jerry INVENTED a part time business in Canada.

Too much competition washing windows.

So he goes into strip malls. Only mom and pop shops.

Says, "I'm washing all the signs in the mall. Almost ready to leave.

Here once a year. Your Store sign is FILTHY. 20 bucks to wash it."

He gets the cashier or waitress to call the boss
if he or she is not there.

Works 4 hrs - Makes munny at a 50.00 to 80.00 an hr pace.

I coach a lot of folks who want to make EXTRA CASH Moolah part time.

Henry just moved to California
to take care of him mom.

FIRST DAY - He Knocked on 29 strip mall shops - 5 of them paid him to wash
their signs.

EVEN THO They are P-aying to have it done in their monthly rental contract!

Great "quick & easy money" business!

Here's why I think this works...

- It solves a problem which is there NOW... the dirty sign. Which could be hurting business, and costing them money in lost customers and lost sales.

- He's there NOW... The service is "instant". No need to wait a few days, a week, etc.

- There's a time limit! If they don't decide to do it now, they miss out... This tends to make things more desirable, people hate the idea of losing out...

- It's "don't need to think about it" money. Most people don't feel they need to think too hard about spending $20, especially if it helps their business. That makes it an easier sale...

Hi Glenn and everyone,

When you think about it, this is a kind of formula you could probably apply to create all kinds of "quick & easy money" type of ideas...

For example, the painting numbers on curbs type of business (e.g. Address America), which we've discussed in the past, also follows this approach...

- Solves a problem which is there NOW - hard to see house numbers, means people can't find your house in an emergency (e.g. an ambulance), it could mean the difference between saving the lives of you and your loved ones - or not.

- You can solve the problem NOW (or close enough to now)

- There's a time limit - you're only in the area for a limited time...

- Don't "need to think about it" money - it's not too expensive, so it can be an immediate decision they don't need to think about too much...

Could be good to know this "formula" when you need some fast "bread & butter" money...!

Borrowed an Idea from a 20 Million Landscaper In Manhattan

Here's another strategy we Adapted based on a Mega-Successful Landscaping
idea in Manhattan.

Randy gets hired by rich owners of Manhattan Property
because he shows them PROOF his landscaping efforts INCREASE
the value of their property.

While doing work for ONE Client.

He sends his men out to all the neighbors
asking PERMISSION To -

Carve a shrub into an animal.

or

Feed a Dying tree.

Rescue a dead patch of lawn.

YOU GET THE IDEA.

So.

I've now got several do-it-yourselfers getting Jobs LIKE THIS.

I - They drive thru an affluent neighborhood

II - When they see rain gutters that need cleaning. (Leaves and junk or small
weeds growing on the roof)

III - They knock and offer to Clean Your Gutters FOR FREE.

a - Most people have a ladder - so you don't need ANYTHING to do this.

b - Elderly people who cannot clean their gutters need People they can TRUST to
do all sorts of chores.

c - Women who are very busy or who have kids - need help too.

SO.

By Going the EXTRA MILE - You get lots of time to talk.

You get an Opportunity to DEMONSTRATE you do Good Work.

You get TIME to Turn a Stranger into a Friend and ASK, "What else do you need done?"

This idea can be VERY PROFITABLE.

One man in FL quit his aluminum siding job. Started using the "Clean Your Gutter
FREE" Strategy to find Prospects - then SOLD The leads to roofing, window
repair, aluminum siding and landscaping companies.

Another VIP in Michigan - Took a Roofing/Aluminum siding Sales Job.
Finds all his prospects this way.

These are fantastic!

I'm going to save these because these are truly "quick money ideas" you can use whenever you need it...

I've thought in the past about how you can make money "quickly"... For example, selling stuff on eBay. However, even that still can take a week or so (if you run a week-long auction, for example, then there's sometimes a delay to get paid)...

What Glenn is sharing is much faster...

Why does it work? These ideas all help solve a problem the client has NOW, you offer to solve the problem NOW, and in general, the client doesn't have to think too hard about the price, it's a "no-brainer" with all those elements in place... (And gaining trust is also critical, too...) Very smart stuff that works... :)
