There is an ex-con in Australia called Chopper http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Brandon_Read - and who had a film made about him starring Eric Bana, called Chopper http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0221073/

Based on the character in the film, a comedian known as Ronnie Johns developed a character he called Chopper who gives advice.

One piece of advice is to Harden The F*** Up and can be seen in this YouTube Video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unkIVvjZc9Y - warning, has swear words and people named Stefan might be offended.

Anyway. All this came flashing into my mind as I read about a Product Recall of a Hoodie - http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml08/08207.html

It seems this Hoodie is being recalled because the drawstring COULD present a choking hazard - WTF?

Ok. Let's follow the lead...

Recall ALL shoes with laces because those laces could come undone and present a Tripping Hazard.

Recall ALL letter openers because you could slip and Jab yourself - same applies to pens in shirt pockets as bending over could jab yourself.

Recall ALL ball caps because the size adjuster could be made too small and too much pressure put onto the head causing headaches and skull pressure.

Recall ALL clothes with Zippers as the zip could Pinch the sensitive skin - guys know what I'm talking about, right?

Dang, man. As Chopper says - and as is quickly spreading through our Culture in colloquial expressions between people during any Wimp Out situation at work/play - harden the F up.
