Ideas for installing a glossary in Wordpress

Hi,

I know this isn't a tech site but there's a wealth of skills within this forum and I could use some advice.

If the post is removed, I'll understand and apologize in advance ;-)

I want to build a glossary on my blog. I've looked at free WordPress plugins and a paid option.

The thing is they don't do what I need, as far as I can tell, because I've tested the free plugins but can't get hold of the owners of the paid option.

I don't have the funds available now for Odesk or Rentacoder so I have to do it manually. That's why I need help.

Have any Sowpubbers created a glossary on their site, if so how did you do it?

Why do I want a glossary, they attract eyeballs to a site and other site owners will link to good glossaries as a service to their readers.

I've drawn a sketch (sorry about the lousy handwriting) to show what I'm trying to achieve. Here's the link: http://genprep.com/images/0057_001.pdf

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul.

Hi Paul,

That a good question. I do not know much about scripts and such but I figured that is what you would need. Here is a free script to what you want---I think?

I'm sure you could get someone on Fiverr.com to do this very cheap.

Best of success,

Search for a "directory" or "yellow pages" plugin / script. And plug in the definitions instead of the addresses. They have a similar structure to a glossary.

Thanks for the help guys. Still no luck getting a glossary on my site. Have asked a few people on Fiverr but still looking for help with the layout I need from a script or plugin.
