Who has ever pitched a per-inquiry media deal?
Hello
Who has ever pitched a per-inquiry deal with an offline media provider, i.e.TV/radio? Any tips/scripts on how to get a mutually beneficial arrangement? Thank you |

I haven't done such a deal myself... but I've heard of such deals being done. As I recall, they're usually more open to such a deal when you're dealing with remnant space (in a print publication, for example)... That's leftover ad space they haven't been able to sell, with the publication date looming... You can try to find more information on remnant space. I think Michael (Mike) Winicki also may know more about it... (He's posted here in the past, or you can Google him to find some of his websites...) From the publication's point of view, they'd rather be paid up front for the space, as it's less risk and also less complicated for them. However, if they have unsold ad space left over, they may be more open to alternative deals, since putting some kind of paid advertising there is better than nothing. Best wishes, Dien |
