Cardboard beds for athletes at the Tokyo Olympics - a good idea?
The Tokyo Olympics are due to start in less than a week!
It will be interesting to see how they'll do it in the age of Covid... I read that they may hold the games with no audiences in the stadiums... Meanwhile, I discovered that beds for the Olympic athletes will be made out of cardboard! The idea is the cardboard beds can be easily recycled when the games are over... It's probably a good thing that Sumo isn't a sport at the Olympics yet! Those cardboard beds would be instantly flat-packed... Been a bit overwhelmed with stuff lately,,, Should be getting back on top of things shortly...! |
How About A Do-it-Yourself Hammock Instead?
Thanks Dien,
Thinking about how much advantage a Good Sleep Could be If I were Competing in The Olympics - I found an Alternate solution to what could be a very uncomfortable cardboard bed. 3 Minute Hammock Directions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVyX0McICr0 Six Branches Or Small Trees from any nearby Woods...To make a Hammock stand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihqUbdMIjBc I might Try this myself the next time I find myself somewhere WET without a Place to sit down. Opportunities in cardboard beds? :)
Hi Glenn,
I love your solution seeking brain... You always come up with something unique, yet effective! It's been a while since I've ever been in a hammock... I wonder if some people would want to buy the Olympic-style cardboard beds so they can sleep in the same beds their Olympic heroes are sleeping in? There could be a (weird) opportunity there... Best wishes, Dien Quote:
