Systems vs Gears. Some food for thought few ever partake before they begin.

MJ DeMarco, of the Business Fastlane, recently sent out an email discussing the concept of SYSTEMS, which reminded me of Harvey Brody's GEARS. And since it has been awhile, thought I would refresh some memories.

It is the foundation of my ANTI slop and mess MINDSET of any business/money making venture.

OR, don't walk into quicksand if you know its there.

In MJ's system example he has efficient and inefficient and he defines them as:

E= Effort is enhanced and amplified. Rewards are explosive.
I= Effort is restrained and hampered. Rewards are marginal.

Yet we see so many people choose to go with the "marginal" reward system and because of the choice at the beginning, they hog-tie and hamstring their own earning potential.

In Harvey Brody 'speak'>>>>>>> First gear is labor intensive, where you do all the work, and need be present and active, up to about 5th and 6th gear where others are doing most of the work, and you collect the dough.

We probably have some brilliant discussion in the archives, but I thought I would bring it up again, in case anyone is interested in these advanced business principles for today. With the explosion of AI generated content and all, it might be a faster lane to get into a higher gear system as soon as possible.

Any questions?

Efficiency is "kick-a**"...

Hi Gordon,

Thanks for posting this!

I think the topic of efficiency is pretty important for business...

The more efficient you can make your operations, the less waste you have, and potentially more profit...

And if you can help your customers be more efficient... You probably have a "kick-a**" product or service!

It works both ways... :)

When people buy a Gordon Alexander report... They are undeniably getting something which will help their "efficiency"... Their efficiency in bringing in the dough...

When students signed up for training at J's Golf Court, they undoubtedly got better at their golf skills a lot faster than they could have just trying to muddle through on their own... :)

Best wishes,

Dien
