Do the standard ways of promotion online still work?
 

I just read this new article about a woman who's started out successfully with her own online business.... She's a personal image and fashion consultant, and she has turned that expertise into a paid subscription-based web site.

She's only a few months into her project, but apparently doing well, even though she describes herself as "marketing-challenged".... Her marketing approach consists of simple online ways you can promote your business, which you may have read about before.... Such as by writing articles which she then sends to ezines, and by purchasing listings on the Goto search engine, www.goto.com (where you pay per click-through).
