We've discussed many topics in the past here on Sowpub.... Mail order.... promotions and marketing.... stocks.... real estate.... chatteling.... ebooks.... new trends.... using leverage.... the more "spiritual" side of business.... good health tips!.... and all kinds of things! :)

What would you like to see more of? What else would you like to see that we don't talk about yet? Please let me know (I don't know what you're thinking otherwise), I'd love to give you more of what you'd like to see here....

Hi Dien,

Because some of the free search engines are making it more difficult for us small fries to get a top spot, I'd like to see some offbeat or unusual traffic generating ideas.

Yes, that's a great topic.... There are a number of ways I've "experimented" with for getting traffic, many of them work (and some don't)....

This is a good topic, which we've only talked a little bit about here so far.... Thanks for your input! It's something I'll try to dig up more about so we can discuss this as well.... :)

More Traffic Generation Tools than you can Shake a Stick at....
 

Hi Dave,

I guarantee there will be something here you don't know about, if you haven't seen this already.... This may be the Most Comprehensive reference on ways to generate traffic anywhere....

I'm referring to Sen Ze's list of traffic generation tools.... (I've linked to it at the end of this post.)

It will probably take you a while just to go through all these ideas, because there are so many.... In all, he gives you 56 different ways of generating traffic....

(I don't have any affiliation with Sen Ze -- it's just that this really is a good resource....)

He divides the different types of tools into three categories --

Getting people to come the first time,
Getting them to come BACK again and again, and
Getting them to tell others so they come to your site too!

He calls these "Type I," "Type II," and "Type III," so be sure to click on these links near the end of the page to get all the details....

I spent about an hour yesterday evening at Sen Ze's site. I've bookmarked it because there's simply too much quality info. to absorb with one sitting.

The 3 types of traffic generation tools, "Bringing Them In For The Very First Time", "Making Them Come Back Again And Again", and "Making Them Spread The Good Word About You Like Wildfire!" will add a new dimension to my marketing mix.

Anyway, if you're serious about your marketing efforts, I strongly recommend that you take a look at this eye-opening resource.
