Does anyone know of any software that can compress or improve the speed at which images (eg. photos)on a website can be downloaded. As you know, the speed at which your site downloads is very important.

You could also try Smartsaver by Ulead
 

Go to http://www.ulead.com/ssp/runme.htm and look at what they offer. I have been using Smartsaver Pro for 2 years now. Very simple to use and inexpensive.
