Search Engines and Links
 

Has anyone heard of a new service that goes out and gets other websites to link to you, instead of you doing it yourself ? Interesting idea. I received an e-mail today (not requested) about a site asking to link to mine. The address of this service is :

http://www.changinglinks.com

Has anyone used this as yet, or any comments ?

Hi Ken,

Yes, I've heard of them; I fact I probably got the same email as you got.

I think these sites are called "link farms." I also read at Get High (Traffic) Forums that some search engines, such as Google, were going to ban domains that are listed with these link farms.

Anyone else have an information about these link farms? If so, please share.
