Your FRONT END could make you rich and famous, NO, not like Monica's front end or

Gary Hart's front end made them famous...

we're talking your low cost INTRODUCTORY product that is used as a lead generator, a perpetual customer generation system...

the THING that brings in new business...THAT

FRONT END.

On Columbus Day a friend in business is launching his new FRONT END site, where you get paid for getting a new customer.

Even if you don't have a back-end, that is more product to market, the Front End could produce a substantial income for you.

Let me give you an example.

There is a lady here in Summit County Ohio who has written a little book on GETTING STARTED WITH HERBS.

This little mini-introductory course would be about 20-40 pages long in pdf format and would sell for around 14.95 (this is an example, the FRONT ENDS may sell for more or less)...

It is designed for people who think they might be interested in getting into growing herbs or making herbal products such as cachets or potporri, or teas...

but don't want to invest in a big course or an expensive book of 60 dollars or more. It is a SAMPLE of this lady's work. Now there could be 10,000 people selling herb type intros, but only ONE will be at the FRONT END...

Within her course in pdf format, she should (and does) deliver some real meat and potatoes information...my friend has established an Executive Review Committee that reads for Quality Control {oh, if you have an interest in being a reader for this committee, send me an e-mail}...

So this lady has a nice little 14.95 product that Front End (FE from here in) sells. She gets 50% of every sale, directly deposited in her account at the time of the sale, along with complete details and accounting information.

Then she offers other products, the notorious BACK END, where her profits really grow.

This lady has a beautiful cookbook that sells for about 24.95 a REAL book that is sent. She also has other herbal things, like gift baskets and jellies and honey...all things she should be selling within the FRONT END.

NOW, the FE will not be JUST a sales pitch for higher priced products, that is why my friend has established an oversight/review board. He doesn't want a bunch of garbage at his site.

He will be launching a National Advertising Campaign on Columbus Day...with both print and direct mail promotions. He will be contacting potential Writers very soon too.

He is seeking YOUR very best front end to offer to the visitors he will be getting.

Even if you don't have a back end offer, or something else to sell, you could still make nice "affiliate" income, the only catch is, you are the ONLY affiliate of your work.

What that means for every 14.95 course of yours that is sold, you'll get approx 7.50.

If he can market a 1000 of them in a year, you will have made $7,500.00 for WRITING your course.

That would be about 20 sales a week. I've seen and consulted on his marketing strategy, and he is going to get the traffic. No doubt.

He is looking for your FRONT ENDS. He will offer you a non-exlusive contract, you OWN your work, he is simply marketing it for you, you are free to market it yourself. The idea is generate specific customers within a niche.

Now there will be only ONE product in a category, so there is exclusivity too. Details will be forthcoming.

The site is being built this week, the ads are getting placed, the FRONT END has begun.

On Columbus Day he launches this new venture to explore new worlds.

He would prefer courses on REAL LIFE, he does not want a bunch of HOW TO MARKET on the INTERNET things, however, he will consider a few to get started if they offer QUALITY information.

I think it is a neat idea, and one that will allow us to have another marketing avenue at work for us. Personally I'm writing about 3 courses right now, and probably put 2 of my own up for free. One of the new courses will be a Chattel Intro, called FINDING THE SPREAD. If you liked the Chattel Report: The Sprint to Freedom, I think you will like this new one.

Also, I've decided to offer Instant Fame and Fortune as a low cost course, NO modules, just lay everything out for you in one low cost course. Those that have read IFF, I think will like the whole shebang. Very good info on creating your FAMEBRAND MARKETING strategy.

It should be ready and posted for the Grand Opening on Columbus Day.

So, if you are a WRITER, or even if you aren't because he's got a way for non-writer's to submit courses too, then this is a great opportunity in my opinion to get your name and work out in front of potentially millions of eyes...

I know there will be much traffic right from day one, so start getting your front end ready.

This is nice way to get PAID for your leads, and new customers...

In the Old World of Direct Marketing, Customer Acquistion was a huge expense...

NOW, you can make a substantial profit and get NEW customers at the same time.

Any questions?

How to find a topic to write about....

Hi Gordon,

Sounds like an exciting project! :)

> consider a few to get started if they offer
> QUALITY information.

This is a good point, many people feel the biz-op market is too crowded.... Some say that the sooner you get OUT of trying to market biz-op materials, the faster you'll find success....

I think the biz-op area is a great place to "get your feet wet," but it's much better to write about your passions! Your hobbies!

If you have a hobby, the chance is there are thousands, or maybe even millions, of people who have the same hobby you do. And they'd love to know more about their hobby!

(If you wanted to be sure, you could check the list of mailing lists in the SRDS -- either buy it or find it in a good library -- to see how big the lists related to your hobby exactly are.... In Australia and I think also in the UK, the equivalent publication is called the "List of Lists"....)

And writing about something you love and know about already is much easier than writing about something you have little interest in.... Plus, your natural enthusiasm will shine through what you write! :)

....and here's how to actually start writing your product!

I borrowed this technique from Gary Halbert (he mentions it in some of his newsletters)....

Here's what he does.

Let's say the topic you've decided to write about is "cult" films....

Okay.... Now what?

Get a whole bunch of books on this topic, either your own or from a library.... Start reading.

Next to you, keep a stack of 3" x 5" index cards.... When you come across an interesting fact, note it down! (If it was me, I'd probably also note the reference, in case I wanted to look it up again later....)

Keep reading and making notes on your cards.... Only one fact per card!

After a while, you'll have a pile of facts....

For example, with cult films some of these facts might be....

* Herschell Gordon Lewis was first a successful "exploitation" (later cult) film director, then later he became a famous and successful copywriter!
* HG Lewis made what could be one of the first female biker films, "She Devils on Wheels" in 1968
* Instead of regular actors, in "She Devils on Wheels" HG Lewis cast real female bikers!
* He made the first "gore" film, "Blood Feast" made in 1963, which started the whole "gore" genre which continues with horror films today
* One of the famous cult science fiction films is "The Day The Earth Stood Still" from 1951
* Most "cult" films weren't intended that way -- but some were. An example is "The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" made in 1978
* etc. etc.

The next step is to sort these facts. Sit down, and start flipping through your cards.... Decide what facts you want in your book or report, and what you want to discard.

Then, put the facts you're keeping into an interesting and sensible order....

Once you have all your facts you want to include all lined up, the next step is easy!

Go through your cards, one by one in order, writing about the topic on each card!

Before you know it, you'll have a product!

This is similar to what many people do when they plan a book, except that I think using index cards probably makes the process easier....

I always worked things out on pieces of paper, but in my opinion, index cards are much easier -- and more fun -- to handle. :)

I have stacks of index cards EVERYWHERE since I started using them in this way.... I have one stack of index cards just with headlines. Other stacks have notes on different topics.... Personally, I love this technique. :)
