LLC or INC.

Quick question guys. I am growing from a sole propritorship into a limited liability company.
My question is should I go with a Limited Liability Company or a subchapter "s" Corporation.
any feedback would be welcome. I live in New York(if that makes a difference).

The answer is... it depends. *g* Seriously. There are advantages and disadvantages to both directions. It appears that LLCs are usually cheaper to setup than "S" corps. I had an "S" corp. I'm probably going with an LLC because it's much cheaper in OH. It will probably depend on your state. About a year ago I bought a "kit" to help me with my LLC registration. It's pretty comprehensive. The guy is an attorney and he assembles it for your state. I think it cost me $140 or something like that. Then I found out from an attorney here that you can get most of what you need free from the state. Was I ripped off? Not really. The "kit" explains the process very well and takes you through each stage better than most confusing government documents. I bought the kit from Steven Davidson. I looked for his URL but I couldn't find. Just use Google to search for him.

And please know that the prayers and best wishes of many people in Cleveland are with you in NYC and Washington.
